Same Peter Calls Wlad Klitschko or inan Samil Sam to Step up

With the possibility of facing Wladimir Klitschko in an IBF eliminator or Sinan Samil Sam in a WBC eliminator, heavyweight Sam Peter has challenged either one to step forward:

"In my last television appearance, I asked the heavyweight division and the rest of the world, 'Who is Next?' Now I have a better question for both of the fighters who have been ordered by the WBC and IBF to fight elimination bouts with me: Who is man enough to fight me? Wladimir and Sinan, both of you have opportunities to meet me in the ring and try and prove you are the new mandatory challengers in two of boxing’s main sanctioning organizations, the WBC and IBF. It is my understanding that my promoter, Duva Boxing, has made significant offers to both of you to fight me in the very near future. I ask you to look the offers over carefully and please don’t try to hide behind your promoters or managers. Boxing fans around the world deserve to know who the next heavyweight king will be. Let’s settle this in the ring like honorable gentlemen. We are fighters and warriors and are supposed to fight the best to prove we are the best."

I guess that puts to bed the notion of Peter "ducking" Wlad Klitschko.

Only extreme Wlad fans would've been claiming Peter was ducking Klitschko. Why would he have been calling Vitali out if he were scared of Wlad?

Its also funny that people give Wlad such a huge chance against Peter. Some even saying he'd destroy Peter. I'm not saying its not possible, Tarver vs. Jones 2 has proven that nothing is impossible, but highly ****ing improbable.

I hope Sam fights Samil San first, knocks him out proving once and for all just how hard he punches (as Samil is very resilient), and then takes on Wlad in a higher profile fight.

I personally think Wlad somehow weasels out of the Peter fight really. He'll definitely say "well, Sam deserves to fight Peter first." Meanwhile, Wlad'll try getting out of the Peter fight. He knows Sam likely won't beat Peter, so Wlad might go after say John Ruiz or some **** instead.

...In an article on ********* they are saying that Wlad/Brock is in negotiation for a possible fight on that September 24th date that was "supposed" to be Vitali's. Wlad wasn't named as Peter's box off partner until after Peter was talking about a fight for the top contender spot in the WBC in a fight with Sinan Sam. I would think those negotiations had started for that fight some time ago. Once again, who really knows what goes on with fight negotiations unless your in the room?
