My thoughts exactly. What a snoozer of a matchup.

Shannon Briggs will create some interest in this fight with his trash-talk.

Briggs is the harder puncher, but Vitali has the better stamina and athleticism.

It will be fun to watch while it lasts.

Get your facts straight. Vitali is OLDER than Briggs.

        Vitali is age 39

        Briggs is age 38

If you watched Vitali's old fights with all the early KOs, you'd realize Vitali is past his prime too. The version of Vitali that fought Hide in 1999 would have taken Sosnowski out in 2 rounds. But that being said, Vitali is still very good.

Honestly rather see him fight Holyfield in October.

              Hamburg???

I think I'm going. Could be the last chance to see Vitali.

i'd like to see vitali retire after this one.
then after a couple years of the good life both him and lewis come back for a rematch.

that fight would be more popular then anything going on now.
                and more competitive

lmao! Briggs' scam of beating 2 fighters in 1 week worked! Vitali bit the bait!

anyone who wants a title shot should go fight Rob Calloway, that gives you a beeline to Vitali

I mean honestly, its still better than Vitali's last two fights, but this is still baloney. Briggs had no right to get a title shot.

look for some Klitschko fans to start upping Briggs as a choice, when those same people were comdemning Briggs if he got an undeserving title shot about a month ago (You know who you guys are )

I'm a huge Vitali fan and I'll say this: Briggs is unworthy.
He might make it interesting for 30 seconds and then he gasses.

Problem is the lack of genuine challengers who wants to fight.
