First of all Chavez has not fought anybody that Margo fought to the point when he fought Cotto. Jr biggest win is Duddy and also has problems making 154. Even at 160 he had to take banned diet substance to make weight. Pac/Cotto doesn't not equal Chavez/Cotto. By far Cotto will be the most skilled foe that Chavez has faced to date. Strong accurate jab, hard puncher excellent body puncher. If he was reaching Foreman with his jab imagine what is going to happen to Chavez

Cotto will win this fight, all my points on it if anyone wants the bet?

Its a real fight tho, Chavez has size and range, Top class sparring with the worlds premier fighter who just so happens to have stopped Cotto and the worlds number one trainer in Roach who also masterminded the Cotto win for Pac. He's also a better fighter than given credit for, John Duddy is no Carlos Monzon but the way Chavez beat him impressed me, he can pose a few problems.

Still Cotto has been operating at a much higher level, generally with sucsess, has more experiance despite less pro fights, has a fresh spring in his step with Steward in the corner, a way higher skill level and should still be the puncher despite Chavez being the bigger man, Cotto is proven goods.

      Miguel must be the pick

But it's great that he's stepping up in his competition, the kid has iron balls to fight Cotto.

Yeah but from Duddy to Cotto thats like you having a Mazda and going from racing Toyota's and Hondas to Ferrari's and Lambo's !

Hell yea he won't know what hit him. I can't wait for this fight to be over so Roach can shut up for once about his fighters being so powerful and unbeatable when half the time he's masterminding the stipulations for the bouts. After Chavez takes a squat in the ring via saca pedos I'll be enjoying the fact this kid wasted 8 weeks training to lose to a smaller "weaker" man.

Jr hasnt faced anyone decent yet,Cotto is more than decent he is a great fighter(no atg but still great),That been said jr is tall and has reach advantage but so did Foreman. I think this fight should be easier for Cotto than Foreman because Jr doesnt use the ring like foreman does.If Cotto comes in attacking the body I see an easy win for him.

He will not have problems making the weight with a 4 month camp with Ariza

I hate that team so much. It's gotten to the point where I think I wish bad things upon that entire team outside of Roach. And I'm not much of a fan of Roach either, but gotta give credit where credit is due.
