I would of rather seen Berto vs. Cotto.....this is not a smart move for Cotto. If he wins he would not gain much props given the kid hasn't been tested yet by a top opponent. If he loses...well he might as well retire. Bad way to follow up a good performance against Foreman.

If Cotto was really outboxing Tony, he wouldn't of gotten hit so much to the body.
After those rounds, than Cotto started to feel the effects of Margarito's continues blows, which should had been avoided by Cotto boxing skills and quick hands, just by going in and out instead of staying an exchanging especially on the ropes. With or without the plaster, Cotto could had won that fight if he would had avoided lots of those exchanges. He did prove he can beat Margarito with a proper gameplan and is he sticks to it. However there will always be a cloud of doubt over that fight because of the plaster issue and the effect that it might have had on the outcome of the fight.

If Chavez can keep coming foward all night swinging and smothering Cotto then He can take it. But If he lets Cotto breathe then I can see Miguel taking this kid to school. Another thing this kid has problems making weight how the hell is he gonna make 154? oh yea I forgot he has Ariza.

During the 1st 6 rounds (Majority of rounds btw because of how many round the fight last) althought getting hit, Cotto was dominating that fight by landing more jabs and power punches than Margarito by far.
By far?? That's why by the 8th round Cotto has taken as many power punches than any other fight? Including Mosley. lol
Rhe only reason that I beleive that Cotto didn't go to the body as much is because it seem to be very easy for Cotto to **** Margarito's head which didn't do as much damage because of Margaritos's chin. He should had gone to the body more, I agree and we all know that Margarito's defense is not great.

Margarito is just the wrong opponent/style for Cotto. Plaster or not. Only reason I pick Cotto over the same style in Williams is cause Williams leaves his body too open for that "Saca Pedos". Something Margarito doesn't vs Cotto.
