Firstly Cotto is a strong guy
Secondly Chavez is easy to hit, slow and gets tired. Marg is easy to hit, not that slow and never gets tired.
Thirdly Chavez's size isn;t anything special, he fights too heavy footed to exploit anything that Cotto does.

Cotto will easily win.

Son, if all u got to hang your hat on is JCC JR Mexican boxing is in a sad state. Id personlly hitch my wagon to Montiel or maybe Abner Mares right now, the rest of the buch have been pinatas lately. Getting beaten senseless. When I go to the fights and a mexican is fighting and Im close to ringside I usually bring a bag for the candy thats going to fly out of the ring as he gets beaten on. Im not even a rican and I have to call it like I see it.

cottos a nice guy but his days at the top are over ,even when he was at the top he was hardly there. guy took beatings against even worse b level guys than jr. how selctive and short of a memory u guys have.

cotto gets hit just as much , jr is much faster than margarito, chavez is nothing special I agree but has more than enough to take cotto out, cotto may have been something 8 yrs ago but thats long gone.cotto stamina out of the 3 is worse, he always fades wether hes winning or losing I dont see where u get cotto has good stamina, thats something cotto has never had.cotto has good power and if that power dont hurt the other guy, he folds his tent ,plus hes shot.his last win was nothing more than pure luck that foreman hurt his foot.cotto fans are the most die hard fans ive ever met, guy has taken the most spectacular ass whoopings in boxing history and they still pick him to win.I just dont get it.

Lets see this fight. The sooner the better. I know that if Jr. wins, Cotto will be critisized as being too old, or used, or damaged. If Cotto wins, life goes on. What I feel imporant is that there will be a recognizable name on Jr.s resume. He has to take his gaudy, zero loss record and turn it into big cash the only way possible. Beating money making, dangerous, famous boxers...or not. Lets see it.

Cotto better win, u don't wanna be the first real fighter this kid beats, it makes u look bad. I hope he's still got enough in the tank to take the kid out, I'd hate to see cotto end like that. I think there was an ATG boxer by the name of Tito Trinidad that beat all of your Mexican champions in his weight classes and make Oscar run like a chicken and Fernando Vargas poop in his pants when Tito beat the living hell out of him. That Cotto-Margo fight your talking about I think Miguel was schooling him for 8 rounds until those plaster bombs got hard. There's been great Mexican Champions like JCC sr. JMM and others i'll give you that but don't come here and write like you guys are the only great ones in boxing period. The best thing for boxing always been the Puerto Rico-Mexico rivalry. Go Cotto. One of the most dominating welterweight of his era.
