Doesn't surprise me at all. Chad looks and talks like a dumb hick that has no education at all what's so ever. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is like Einstein compare to Dawson...

The crooked promoter game has been ran FAR TOO LONG in boxing for these boxers to STILL be getting duped like the game being played is new.

FAR TOO MANY famous boxers have ended up broke with nothing to their name for DECADES for these new guys to CONTINUE to follow in their footsteps and expect sympathy...

        No sympathy, NONE. ZERO.
These guys are tricked and duped and think everything is fine and are told everything is fine and then years later things start to come out.

They are tricked in the beginning as contenders and when they become big stars, guys come to collect their money. When your promised 20,000 when your 20 years old and never seen that kind of money, you take it.

This happens in ALL sports not just boxing. But yea its sad to see this happening to boxers so much.

Both Holyfeild and Tyson both lost like 300 mil fortunes

I see this stuff all the time in the music industry, People sign their life away when they are young and see money in front of them, When they become bigger later on in life 4 or 5 years down the line they would still be tied to the people who gave them 10,000 years ago.

Dawson is a boxer who is poorly mismanaged, his manager is an ahole and so is his promoter.

For the last 2 years he hasn't been doing much despite getting a lot of hype from fight fans. The Tarver fights were utter failures that did not enhance his reputation and he's backed out fights before (Adrian Diaconu). He doesn't have any incentive to silence his critics, and he knows the only way to do that is to be active and fight the best opponents available, which he has failed to do. Not to mention he sold his soul to HBO.

The loss good against Pascal is good for Dawson, I hope he realizes that he can't keep fighting only once or twice a year, and expect the fanfare and money.

Extortion happens a lot in boxing, that is nothing new especially to young fighters trying to become Superstars

but you have to learn from these situations, he needs to get rid of a few people before he goes after bigger fighters and start making bigger money, because the more money you earn the more they are going to TAKE

Yes it would be important for Dawson to get a new manager and a new promoter. But a lot of the blame goes to Dawson himself. He needs to be more active and he needs to start fighting more often, instead of spending time into negations and money. The money will come once he starts winning and fighting more often.

The main problem is that he cant just get rid of them and "start over". He has signed contracts with them and i think can only buy his way out of them, and i highly doubt he has close to enough money to do so
