    Losing should not affect anything.

I have always felt that your greatness is truly proved on how you comeback from a lost.

If Dawson is truly as good as I have said he is. Then he will come back better and stronger than ever after tonight. If he is not what "we" thought he was then we will find out surely. One lost doesn't prove anything.

Fans should stop getting so carried away after a fight. Lets stop being so quick with the judgement calls.
It's not about the loss itself, but about how he lost. He had Pascal hurt multiple times, but wouldn't press, wouldn't attack, settled for standing and watching as opposed to throwing and landing.

If he would have went out there and gave his all, exhausted all his options, fought until he could no longer stand, then I wouldn't be griping. But when you have someone literally buckled, out on their feet and dazed, and you stop and watch? I have an issue with that.

I'm still a Chad fan, but he disappointed me tonight, and it has nothing to do with his skill level.

And to say Dawson doesn't have heart?

Were you guys not watching the 11th round?

Shows how much of a true fan of a fighter is when they automatically turn their back on the fighter after they lose...
Chad showed glimpses of what he's really capable of. I was never a big fan of his. I just didn't see greatness in him.

Based on tonight's performance seemed like he wasn't all there tonight or
that's the only gear he'll be fighting in from now on.

He hurt Pascal a couple of times and didn't try finish him.

Might need a change in trainers.

          Exactly.

Chad Dawson will be my #2 until Floyd retires, when Floyd does...

Chad Dawson will be my #1 favorite fighter.

Tonight's version of Dawson would've been clowned by Jones Jr., Hopkins and Calzaghe. With that said, I'll still stick with him. No reason for me to stop supporting a fighter after just one loss. Can the same be said for the rest of you?
I don't know, it's how a fighter loses and he lost to a fighter who was just winning because he'd throw flurries then back out and move around the ring... Very disappointing way to be outpointed by a fighter.

Dawson is my second favorite fighter as well, and I personally believe he's the most talented boxer in boxing not named Mayweather.

However, he reminds me of LeBron James. Tremendous talent, great physical attributes, and all the potential in the world, but he lacks that killer instinct the greats have.

Chad will pick up from here and have a great career, but unless he changes his mentality in the ring, he'll never live up to his potential.

                    No.

I know that wasn't the real Chad Dawson out there tonight.

But he came out in the 11th round knowing he was about to lose if he didn't pick up the pace.

And he came out there looking for a KO.

I still see greatness in Chad, I really do.

Well, it's called a second chance. Sometimes, in one's line of work, things don't always go right. Dawson just has to come back to work and not fail next time.
