    • It better be. Williams has been spinning his wheels lately by screaming for fights that would never happen for him. And after all his "most feared" hype, he looked like an idiot for refusing a Martinez rematch when Martinez and HBO wanted to make it happen. I have Martinez taking the rematch but it should be just as good as the first fight.

                  • Boxing is about to hold TAPS

After watching Anderson Silva vs Sonnen last week, and the way the fight ended only brought more excitement to MMA. I love boxing but feel bad that now boxing is all but over, promoters turning their promotional company into boxing leagues and have fans waiting on a merger! Golden Boy, and Top Rank are the worse atleast Goosen is willing to put his guys in with anybody. P-Will vs Martinez is the right fight for both unless PBF or PAC are willing to step up against him. Margarito vs Pacman is a joke any fan that buys that fight is as dumb as they look why waste money on that BS. If the fans stop buying that crap this will force the leagues to merge believe me!!!!! Next two fights I want to see Silva vs St. Pierre and PBF vs PAC I bet Dana White puts the first one together first. PBF should retire he don't really want to fight!

I'll be glad to dig up post from several boxing web sites as well as writers if you choose to rewrite history. It was only after that fight that some people begin to seriously talk about Pavlik's limitations. And the second bolded comment you made is the exact same statement worded differently. It means the same thing. And I hate to hear the excuse "he took off rounds". Maybe, just maybe, the other fighter won them and had a little something to do with that. Fighters don't lose rounds on purpose.
I believe you helped to make my point. Because Pavlik does in fact have heavy hands and many thought Hopkins was to old to handle it. After all, and I don't care what anyone says, even Calzaghe's punches were hurting B-Hop. So, anyone with any amount of boxing sense had to figure Pavlik possibly could hurt B-Hop. And I don't understand why no one was able to see Pavlik's limitations before the Hopkins fight just like I can see how limited Williams happens to be. And I will say again I don't remember the amount of hype that comes along with Williams, the most feared fighter that fighters in three different divisions are ducking and all that crap, being spread around about Pavlik. I personally believe that the reason many fighters don't want to fight him is because Paul demands to much. Such as a fifty-fifty cut for a middleweight championship fight when he was never a dominant fighter in the welters and also never even fought in the division. Or at least he never fought a real contender and if I was team Pavlik I would have laughed in his face and moved on. And as I already stated I will be glad to read anything you can find stating that Pavlik was being avoided or was the most feared fighter on the planet. If anything, if I remember correctly, it was the opposite and it was Pavlik that was said to be the one ducking good fighters. As far as Pavlik's career is concerned at least he had a little run as the lineal middleweight championship. That goes a lot further than being the WBO welter champ with a 2-1 record and losing to a club fighter. Williams also gets way to much credit for beating two fighters well passed their prime. In closing I will tell you what I see and hear about Williams. I see a limited fighter who is no where near as good as the reputation that proceeds him. And what I hear is a lot of his fans making excuses for him because he hasn't lived up to the hype. Oh, one last thing. If you have never seen a fighter take off rounds you most not watch much boxing.
