bute is the best smw right now.......ward = cheating pieceof ****.....dirrel = quittting piece of **** tho he is more impressive than ward by far froch= not that good ,AA= no one can trade with him tho he gives out too many round for strating slow, kessler= good but far from great..green= nothing about him is worth fan's time....dawson = altho boring, he is pretty good, bute beats him tho!

Are you sure that you want Bute vs Dawson ?

I don't know why Dawson's team would even bother throwing Bute's name out there. The guy obviously doesn't want a challenge, he is happy to stay in Canada and fight bums.

He is the Canadian version of Calzaghe.

Even if Dawson agreed to starve himself to 168 and come to Canada; Team Bute still would not answer their phones when Shaw and Dawson come calling.

5 years from now Bute will probably challenge a fighter who has a chance of beating him, but it surely won't be any time soon.

Don't ask to much for Bute vs Dawson, Bute is very underrated and will destroy Dawson who likes to fight against 40 + and will only fight Pascal because he was told to.

BTW Dawson is not in the same division as Bute, since when a WC MUST fight another fighter who is in a different division.

Obviously, boxing is not your sport, maybe you're better in Hockey since you know so much about Canadians.

I disagree completely, Bute wanted to be in the Super Six if I remember correctly. If he does duck Dawson though my views on him will change but for now I believe he is more than willing to take that challenge.

I agree with TS that wanting to be in the Super 6 might have been a dog and pony show.

I was a combination of several things. I think they didn't invite Bute because they wanted a marque name in the Tourney so they went with Taylor. On top of that Bute had signed a deal with HBO so I doubt it would have worked anyway. There were a few more...but I don't want to type you guys to death with a long @ss reply.

I was a combination of several things. I think they didn't invite Bute because they wanted a marque name in the Tourney so they went with Taylor. On top of that Bute had signed a deal with HBO so I doubt it would have worked anyway. There were a few more...but I don't want to type you guys to death with a long @ss reply.

Could be... but the HBO deal came afterward. Remember it was a secret until it leaked at the end...

Bute's camp supposedly wasn't even approached, which tells me that Showtime either wanted that USA vs. Europe format or they decided to include the bigger name or they already knew what type of demands and $ it would take for Bute to get involved and didn't want to pay that.

We also forget that Bute has the IBF and that organization is the quickest to strip. I think Bute would've had to vacate to enter the tourney, something I'm not sure he would have done.

Dawson already offered to fight in Montreal.

I wouldn't question Bute and his team's willingness to fight anyone except for Dawson. They don't want it, you'll see what I'm talking about after Bute-Brinkley.
