I don't know why Dawson's team would even bother throwing Bute's name out there. The guy obviously doesn't want a challenge, he is happy to stay in Canada and fight bums.

I disagree completely, Bute wanted to be in the Super Six if I remember correctly. If he does duck Dawson though my views on him will change but for now I believe he is more than willing to take that challenge.

Bute can't duck Dawson. They are not in the same division. If Cunningham calls out Dawson but wants to fight him at cruiser, would you say Chad is ducking him if he doesn't take the fight? If Chad agrees to go to 168 and Bute refuses the fight, it's ok to say he's ducking Dawson though.


I would like to see Bute-Dawson at 170. I know some of you are not fans of catchweights, but in this situation I believe both guys would be at their best at that weight.

Been saying this since well before he fought Miranda, and well after now. Bute has not beat anyone to be ranked what he is.

With that said, I like him, and would hope he beats Dawson.

Also, I don't think he's fighting bums. Who else should he be fighting? Only recently has Dawson even been viewed as a possible fight by anyone.

I guess it will depend on how Dawson looks on Saturday, if he just comes on and Destroys Pascal then yeah he might avoid him, but if Dawson struggles with Pascal then who knows maybe he will try his luck
