No one is hating or even saying he is ducking anyone. I just stated that after the Bute fight he should face Cloud (because Cloud has earned a shot).

I say this because him not facing Cloud is being hypocritical. Dawson was crying all the time that when Calzaghe and Hopkins were pulling the same stuff with him, that he is now doing to Cloud.

And he has earned it by fighting Glen Johnson?

Al bonanni needs to have cloud work on a body attack as well and not just headhunt all fight.I still think he needs a lot more experience before he gets in with bad Chad.even though they are the same age, Chad is light years ahead of cloud on overall intangibles and ring generalship is 2nd only to maybe money..

hey al, i couldnt agree with you more. i was like come on man glen is 75 years old. go to the body and stop head hunting so much. had he did more body work he would have won in a more convincing manner. glen johnson is no joke, he hung in and made it a fight. but i was not so impressed with cloud. i think bad chad destroys him in 8 rounds.

I just watched Dawson frustrate and stop Ian Gardner and beat the **** out of Eric Harding. Chad won't have too many problems with Pascal's lateral movement and fast hands.

Dude is a beast, he's going to walk Pascal down behind a tight defense and dominate another Ring top 5 contender.

He's done nothing but try to fight against the highest ranked fighters. Calzaghe was getting called out before and after the Hopkins and Jones fights, didn't want none... Hopkins has been getting called out for the last 2-3 years, doesn't want none... Tarver and Johnson were the next best thing and they got it twice... Diaconu pulled out of a scheduled fight less than 2 weeks before... Pascal's getting it now... Cloud will get it after or next...

People really get spoiled and **** because this kid has done nothing but try to fight the best and he still has plenty of haters.

He was offered an opportunity to face Glen Johnson on the Dawson-Tarver II undercard on HBO for a career high payday, if he won he would have gotten the fight against Chad for another career high payday; all he had to do was not enforce his mandatory and let Dawson fulfill the rematch clause Tarver had put in the contract.

So what did Cloud do?...

He declined the offer, enforced his mandatory, got Dawson stripped, and fought Woods for the title. His career is now 2 years behind schedule because of him and his team's own ****** decision. Cloud turned down a shot at Dawson in the past, so he can wait until his number gets called now.

I'm not going at Calzaghe and Hopkins for not wanting to fight him, I'm talking about the critics that talk about Chad's 40 year old opposition as if he's not fighting the best out just because they're 40. As if those 40 year olds wouldn't have gotten in any top rated 20 or 30 year old's ass at Lt. heavyweight not named Chad Dawson.

Still want to see Calzaghe-Dawson though.

they also said a catch weight or at the very least 168 (most likely catchweight) i don't think a catchweight of 171 172 173 is bad. i cant see how bute adding 3 or 4 pounds will effect him. if any thing it's an advantage. no joke. also cloud at this point isn't gonna do ANYHING for dawson. if dawson woops cloud they will say he wasn't that good anyway. but if dawson woops bute dawson will BLOW UP. he will finally have the recognition that he always have dreamed of. most likely this is all talk though because bute will just dis miss the fight knowing that dawson would easily **** him and end the hype.
