Yeah a Glen Johnson of 2008 vs a Tavoris Cloud of 2008, you tell me who would have won that fight? Dawson fought the younger, fresher Johnson in 2008.

What's next? Camacho looked better at beating Leonard than Duran did the first time around?

Dawson should just fight whoever the biggest fight is, which is probably Bute.

**** what everybody thinks, the same ****heads criticizing were the ones calling for him to face someone that isn't 40, even though the 40 year olds have been the best fighters in the division. A slightly faded, weight drained Glen Johnson knocked out a top 10 Yusef Mack and gave Cloud the fight of his life.

I don't think Bute will take it. Not only would he get his ass whooped, but it would be a dumb decision, when he can face 1 of the 2 that get eliminated from the Super 6 and keep building on his popularity.

Cloud declined an opportunity to face Dawson, but will still get the chance to get his ass whooped in due time. Dawson will beat everyone he faces from Cruiserweight on down.

I just watched Dawson frustrate and stop Ian Gardner and beat the **** out of Eric Harding. Chad won't have too many problems with Pascal's lateral movement and fast hands.

Dude is a beast, he's going to walk Pascal down behind a tight defense and dominate another Ring top 5 contender.

He's done nothing but try to fight against the highest ranked fighters. Calzaghe was getting called out before and after the Hopkins and Jones fights, didn't want none... Hopkins has been getting called out for the last 2-3 years, doesn't want none... Tarver and Johnson were the next best thing and they got it twice... Diaconu pulled out of a scheduled fight less than 2 weeks before... Pascal's getting it now... Cloud will get it after or next...

People really get spoiled and **** because this kid has done nothing but try to fight the best and he still has plenty of haters.

Both are good fights.

They have time so I expect to see Dawson in the ring wit both eventually.

^^for starters Cloud was Dawson's mandatory for quite some time and waited for Dawson only for Dawson to give up the belt instead.

Now Cloud owns a belt, beat Johnson, on HBO and if Dawson beats Pascal next week on HBO, it makes perfect sense for them to fight next and to unify the damn belts.

What more do you want? 175 isn't exactly stacked full of great names, let the belt holders fight and unify. I don't know how anyone can be anti-unification.

Bute isn't even in the division

So you can UNIFY the belts at 175 against Cloud in what could be one of the best possible fights that can be made at 175, or fight Bute at a catchweight.

No one is hating or even saying he is ducking anyone. I just stated that after the Bute fight he should face Cloud (because Cloud has earned a shot).

I say this because him not facing Cloud is being hypocritical. Dawson was crying all the time that when Calzaghe and Hopkins were pulling the same stuff with him, that he is now doing to Cloud.

He is a floyd fan. They are kings are justify and making excuses as to why their favorite fighter shouldn't face a certain opponent. Dude has a belt, been a mandatory for a while, and people are not even knocking a Bute fight, just saying he should face Cloud afterwards.
