would have eaten them up? i believe it was lewis himself who said "im not touching byrd." when confronted with that possible matchup. and if he was gonna eat them up, y didnt he take them on short notice, knock them into next year, and keep his belts? instead of fighting ruiz, he fought michael grant. come on, micheal grant?! instead of fighting byrd, he fought vitali klitschko (cuz hed rather be a money-grubber than a champion defending his title). and he retired rather than give vitali klitschko a well deserved rematch like he told vitali he would.

if he knocked them out and gave vitali a rematch, we wouldnt have to put up with byrd's inactivity or ruiz's disgusting tactics in and out the ring, and we would have known who was the TRUE winner of lewis/klitschko 1.

and we would have one less lewis-hater to deal with.
