You say that like its grade school math. it's a little more difficult than that can we agree?
    Otherwise, our point is fair.

Williams doesn't want any...he may fight Dzinz though...HBO hoping he is "European" enough for Williams to deal with his standard boxing style.....not a southpaw either. Taking away Dzinz's undefeated record puts Paul back in contention again..HBO hoping for a Dzinz loss

        Completely agree, huge change.

Where our opinions differ i suspect is that i don't think that it played a as big of a role in the outcome of the fight as you do.

IMO Paul will always struggle vs lefties & movement, Martinez has both. All his flaws, chin up, punch accuracy, ability to be countered, not being able to impose his size are just as evident as they have always been. His inability to learn and improve as a fighter seems rather remarkable to me.

BTW Williams offered more money than he made vs. Pavlik.

So how was Williams afraid again?
By returning to WW to get a belt when HBO is pushing heavy for this rematch, Williams wanted more than a 50% cut against the MW champ btw

Fair point but he did beat martinez. Very close fight. In the rematch, respectfully, Martinez has to find a way not to take rounds off. This will be more difficult now that Paul knows his style what to expect. Martinez lost because he stopped fighting for stretches. He admitted this after the fight. I think he stopped because Paul's punches were hurting him badly. Can Martinez fight a full 12 with Paul? I don't know.

                    He is a lefty.

People **** on Williams but he has two options and they are EXACTLY the thing he has problems with. Soo when he fights one of them people need to start giving him respect.

So why hasnt he signed the fight then? He is talking about moving to welterweight. Thats an indication that he doesnt want the fight. Hes asking for over 50% of the purse. Thats another one.
