i think kirkland actually has a VERY good chance to run through all of those guys from 154 to 160. willams. i just don't see that fight turning out pretty for williams, i have a feeling that williams isn't even gonna be able to hurt kirkland. (Martinez) martinaz was knocked out by a similar style as kirklands own. (margarito/insane pressure) and Martinez is always off balance and falling from the slightest punch. that will work in kirklands favor.

kirkland will run out of prison ready to eat human flesh.

everybody from 154 to 160 should RUN.

Please....Martinez lost to Margarito 10 years ago. He would box Kirklands ears off. Thats Calzaghe vs Lacy 2 right there.

martinez has improved since he fought margarito. yes, but not by much. in fact i would say the same version of margarito who fought willams would stop Martinez RIGHT NOW. kirkland in my opinion is a more agressive fighter then that version of margarito. i see Martinez being knocked off balnced. knocked down, & then eventually stopped. kirkland would put insane pressure on Martinez. martinez wouldn't be able to just out box kirks ears off like joe did lacy. because unlike lacy kirkland fights in his mans CHEST. (kirkland & lacy are not the same two style of fighters at all) kirkland will fight very close to him with the pressure. and Martinez doesn't do well with pressure. even pavlik started to break him down in the middle rounds with small amounts of pressure, and pavlik is just a one two guy (no where near the pressure of a margarito or kirkland) pavlik just slowed down from blood in his eye and Martinez took over.

i think Martinez would end up being dog meat for kirkland. like i said everyone from 154 to 160 should RUN, because it's not looking good when this hell BEAST runs out of prison.

            lolol

You're still basing your premise about Martinez and "pressure" on a fight from 10 years ago. Martinez has improved more than a little since then.

Kirkland hasnt been in with anyone near the calibre of Martinez. Kirkland has looked like a beast against favourable opposition designed to make him look good. Even still, hes shown a tendency to get tagged and hurt on the way in. He'll walk forward in straight lines onto counters all night long. Martinez would dance around him and bust him up.

Martinez is Martinez. i have been watching the man for a while now. and i can tell you right now that he hasn't changed all that much from when he fought margarito. he has gottin a little better since then but his balance has also plummeted since then. also, Martinez isn't this master boxer that everyone claims. he is open for shots, he fights with his hands down, and he has problems with his balance.

hopkins out boxed pavlik coming out of the fight looking like a fresh man. you could barely find a round to give to pavlik in that fight. but Martinez came out of his fight with pavlik torn all up, and he was getting broken down in the middle rounds before the cut. i am not comparing resumes. i am comparing the styles of Martinez and kirkland. and it tells me that Martinez will fold under james relentless pressure.

What were you watching? Martinez got torn up against Pavlik? Lol...he dropped a couple of rounds but adjusted and busted Pavlik up worse than Hopkins did.

Nah im comparing styles and a slick boxer like Martinez beats a one dimensional come forward fighter like Kirkland....easily. Virtually every fight Ive seen Kirkland in, hes been hit clean and hurt. And he hasnt fought anybody. He has zero defence or head movement. Martinez wouldnt be able to miss

now u are just making up stuff. i said that Martinez's "face" was torn apart while hopkins face was fresh as if he had never been in a fight. i said that you could barely find a round to give to pavlik in the hopkins fight while Martinez was getting broken down in the middle rounds of his fight with pavlik. martinaz isn't this master boxer as everyone likes to claim.

also. if Martinez could beat any "1 dimensional fighter easily" as you claim. he should have easily beat margarito. he should have easily beat williams (because williams fought him flat footed and 1 dimensional) willams who doesn't have the same power as kirkland gave martinaz all he could handle by just coming forward pressuring him LOL imagine what kirkland would do who would land out right BOMBS on him with relentless margarito type pressure. not a pretty sight.

the beast will be realeased. grab your popcorn and soda and enjoy.
