Why is everyone taking shots at Margarito?

While I hate what Margo did, he did his time.

Mosley tried to beat up guys while using PEDs. So Floyd just fought a guy who cheated too! AND he never did any time for it ..... Oh, plus the fact that Mosley hadn't fought in 1.35 years and was turning 39.

It's funny that I don't remember once you Floyd fans objecting to Floyd fighting a cheat let alone having threads over threads on the subject.

With or without the controversy, Margarito doesn't deserve the shot.

There were many better picks. Bad, bad year for Pacquiao. Sure, the Mayweather fight didn't go down (for whatever reason) but at least show the fans something. Clottey and Margarito? With all the fighters available? Not cool. Ahh well. Honestly, so much about boxing has me down lately, I just don't know what to say.

3. No US license

4. No longer an elite fighter

5. Mysteriously moved up by WBC

6. Fight is at 150 Pounds

7. There are better fighters available for Pac to fight.

margarito is a cheater and does not deserve this whatsoever.....a cheater coming off a big win doesnt deserve a big fight but this guy is coming off getting ****d in the ring by mosley and beating a complete nobody. The way he lost to mosley should make you wonder if all his percieved skill was really the wrappings and not his fists

Clottey was not a bad pick considering it was last minute. He had always fought well, even in his losses. Against Manny, it was his first time that he fought so poorly and the first time one can say he clearly lost. Even several of his losses could have turned into wins. The big problem was that Clottey underperformed. At least that is what it looked like to all of us. I'm sure Manny had a lot to do with that but still, Clottey was in survival mode all night long.

What I like about the Margo fight is that Margo always comes to fight and will not be in survival mode from the opening bell, like Clottey was. It will have action. At least that is what I'm hoping for.
