Controversy aside then, he UNDESERVING of that fight. As long as I'm concern he unlicenced...How tha hell is he fighting for a title for beating a nobody at 154? Why is he ranked no1? Let ME ask you something; do you think he would be in that fight if he was with goldenboy instead of TOPRANK?

hey everyone does that promotional bs i mean i cant remember the last time floyd fought a top rank guy, they keep him matched with gbp opponents so in case he loses rematches are not a problem same with pacquiao
and no tony has worked hard all his career for a big payday hes a 3 time world champion and i dont see why because of one poor performance (controversy aside) he has to get blackballed from big fights
oh and hes fighting for a title because is the wbc hell if morales wanted he could fight for one right now hes ranked number 2

And he was punished for it! I still don't understand every ones obsession with him.

Like I said before it's like half the board has a secret man crush on him or something.

He shouldnt be getting rewarded with a career high pay day and fighting for a vacant title he wasnt ranked to fight for.

There are also OTHER worthy fighters for Pac to fight. The boxing world is ****ting on this fight. Rightfully so.

Respect for taking the fight?? Any boxer between 140-154 would jump at the oppourtunity to fight Pacquiao (each one more deserving than margarito).

A fight with Pacquiao nowadays is like winning the lottery. Trust me, the last reason for margarito to take this fight is to earn everyone's respect.

He probably never even dreamed a day like this would come after you know what.

How about you start a new thread titled "Why people shouldn't take shots at Margarito" and see what you get

Nobody is ****ting on this fight except Floyd apologists and how do you get rewarded for doing your job? The CSAC never said he could only earn x ammount of dollars in his fights but then again you Floyd fans are good at making up your own rules as you go along so im not suprised that you are making up non existant punishments for Tony. Seriously concerning yourself with another man's livelyhood is just downright creepy!

controversy aside, margarito is a huge underdog and he deserves respect for taking the fight, heck we knows he is gonna give his all and not pull a Clottey and just try to survive

Good points. I was once a huge fan of Antonio and feel like he was shut out of so many big fights. Even now, as disappointed as I was in everything surround the Mosley bout, I still can't hate him. The problem is that, whether you think he's guilty or not, he is in no way deserving of this bout. Heck, he wouldn't deserve it if they hadn't caught him using whatever. We already saw Manny take what was essentially a tuneup this past March. So to see the same thing repeat itself - on PPV no less- has drawn the ire of fans. It should. Everything surrounding this bout feels slimy. And on many levels, the match speaks to everything wrong with the sport.

While I hate what Margo did, he did his time.

Mosley tried to beat up guys while using PEDs. So Floyd just fought a guy who cheated too! AND he never did any time for it ..... Oh, plus the fact that Mosley hadn't fought in 1.35 years and was turning 39.

It's funny that I don't remember once you Floyd fans objecting to Floyd fighting a cheat let alone having threads over threads on the subject.
