2009-2010 posters are some of the worst posters from any fanbase, there are many good one's though. It's like if they're 5-10 years old. For every bad Floyd fan you can get, I will name 5 other bad posters from other fanbases.

You would think so. I do at least.

I like watching Mayweather tactically destroy someone just as much as I like watching Lemieux knock some bum out.

The good Mayweather posters get a lot of unnecessary grief, that is certainly true.

I will say that I have seen obnoxious Mayweather posters (this was back when I was one), say things like, Margarito sucks, no defense, plodding come forward, typical Mexican ****** fighter, which is the polar opposite of saying that a defensive fighter just runs around the ring... equally obnoxious.

The posters on this board need to learn more tolerance and see that any fighter on top, regardless of style, has figured out how to fight in an effective manner, no matter how pretty or ugly it looks.

I'm guilty of this myself, but have since changed my mind on someone, namely Carl Froch, who has a style that I couldn't get excited about, but the results speak for themselves, and it's pretty clear that the results in the ring are a lot more powerful and persuasive than words I could use to the contrary.

I think its actually the opposite, Defensive loving fight fans are alway on the defensive because offensive-like fight fans are alway attacking any fighter that doesnt fight like Pacquiao (For example), Calling fighters runners, boring etc

I really dont care but i have my likes and dislikes in boxing, Hugging, holding and excessive clinching (Ward,Hatton for example) irritates me more than any other thing.

Same. Pretty much any boxing match is enjoyable to me, unless there is excessive clinching.

My thought process is always, "Well, one of these two jokers obviously is the better inside fighter, so why are both trying to grab like their life depends on it?".

Aside from haterfree, you just made my case easier by naming a bunch of 2009-2010 posters with bad rep around here. Like I said, most bad fans from any fanbase continually get banned or are brand new posters who don't know how to debate without being bias.

There's lots of bad Cotto fans, Pacquiao fans, and Mayweather fans. I know you're a known anti-Floyd poster and you will only mention the bad Floyd fans but between me and you, we know what i'm talking about and I know inside you agree with me.

Because casual fans usually go for things like slugging, swarming, knockouts, and excitement.

It takes some extra understanding of the sport to be able to appreciate a technician.

A boxing fan who prefers fights like Mayweather's, Hopkins', Wlad's, Dawson etc, will also praise a fight like Marquez-Vazquez trilogy, Ward-Gatti, Froch-Kessler, Marquez-Pacquiao, Hamed-Kelley, etc.

On the other hand, most boxing fans who like strictly all out wars like the one's I mentioned, would not be too fond of Dawson-Johnson II, Wlad fights, Hopkins-Jones I, Mayweather fights etc.

And that is the difference between us. We like 'boring' and 'exciting, while you like 'exciting' and **** on the 'boring' fights.
