The only other thing I can think of is that it is more difficult to appreciate the mastery of a defensive wizard, and it's not as instinctual to like them, so they feel like they are on another level with the sport, because they have grown to love the mastery of something that isn't initially crowd pleasing to the eye.

Couldn't have said it better myself bro!

if you are a "boxing fan" you should be able to appreciate different styles of fighters.....whether or not you prefer one style over another.

I think its safe to say this thread is directed at Floyd fans. There is no question Floyd fans are the most condescending and elitist.

Really? They are always pretty civil with me. It's those obnoxious Nicolino Locche fans who act superior to me at least.

i dont appreciate John Ruiz's jab and clinch style...that disqualifies me as a fan?

that's like me telling you 'you're not a basketball fan because you dont like players who flop'

                  /Thread.

It's a response to the ****heads who call a fighter boring because he hits without getting hit. A fan who likes defensive fighters/boxers will also enjoy an exciting fight but appreciates defensive fighters. A fan who likes exciting fights/fighters(or should I see fighters who use their face as defense) usually **** on defensive fighters/'chess matches'. Meaning they don't appreciate the sport as a whole and they are better off watching MMA.

It's like if I claim to love school and I have been going it to it everyday since I was 5. But then I only like Gym class and Lunch and **** on the other subjects because they're not as fun. It's very ******.

You're generalizing though. That's MIC, a known troll and bad Floyd fan. Why don't you get examples from good Floyd fans like El Jesus, Parody and The Comedian?

It's easy to pick out the worst posters of a fanbase to make a fool out of that whole fanbase. You're a Cotto fan, want me to get a post from Animalistic? and say "look how Cotto fans act". ???
