their two promoters were apparently texting eachother about this.

I actually like how Pirog would match up vs Williams.

Thats was Pirogs 17th fight, but he looks to be ready for anybody. Hes already 30 and i doubt he will get even better. The big guys can come. Sturm and Sylvester will never fight him, but both would lose to him.

Just saw the fight and i have to say am impressed by Pirog, He doesnt seem over-raw by the occasion, He looked too seasoned for Jacobs and i like the way he does not fight like a typical-eastern european fighter.

I read alot of comments on here before watching the fight and Jacobs doesnt look like he was out cold to me, He was definitely out but i think he could have got up from that punch, The referee was right to stop it though because jacobs gave the impression of been out cold which made the ref cut off the counting.

Jacobs is NEVER going to be elite after what I seen last night. Reminds me of a Khan, horrible defense and very a dodgy chin. Jacobs was a disaster waiting to happen last night.

He definitely wasn't knocked out cold, he tried to get up to beat the count and the ref stopped him. He was conscious the whole time. Knocked out COLD, would mean unconscious.

Yes he was, look at the way he just crumbled, layed out flat on his back and had a completely blank look on his face.

He was out for likie 5 sec and then whne he regained consciousness, he tried to get up

Good thing we have Russians and Latinos in boxing, they are warriors. Hugging, running and dancing around is not part of their agenda.

I love how the WBO got screwed on this one taking away the belt from Martinez hoping it would end up with Jacobs. Ahahahaha. Take the belt home to Gelendzhik Dmitry. War Pirog!
