I remember you saying that Floyd doesn't have the tools to do to Mosley what Vernon and Winky did. Well I guess he has some tools cause he sure did tax that ass! And then there is Bernard who made his name beating on little guys like Tito, De la hoya, Winky, and Kelly. But yet when Mayweather fights a Hatton or a Marquez he gets a bunch of ****. Anyone who knows anything about boxing knew that Clottey was NOT a type of boxer who brought action into the ring....type of boxer who would fade into the later rounds..not a knock-out artist..how is he going to have a large fanbase and all of a sudden bring big numbers? Clottey was not a huge name! There are a lot of Argentians that followed Baldomir ,yet the fight with Baldo-Mayweather ppv numbers didn't do so well.

honestly, if floyd fought clottey... the numbers wouldve been HORRIBLE...
floyd wouldve had to pull a miracle with his salesman act, he wouldve been forced to party with diddy & 50 cent HARD to try to sell that fight.... track record shows floyd goes for a solid b-side to his fights. floyd learned his lesson from weak numbers with baldomir & judah. LOL.

guarantee you we dont see floyd fight berto, martinez, p-will, etc... based off of name recognition ALONE. when floyd comes back from his vacation, i expect him to fight another GBP sacrifice.

floyd is chasing big names & money just like pacquiao... at least manny/margs should be fairly entertaining (if we're lucky).

I don't get how any real boxing fan doesn't respect what Mayweather can do in that ring. I just don't get it. Boxing is hit and not get hit. Can anyone argue that Mayweather isn't the best at that? Mayweathers plus minus ration of hiting and being hit is the best in the sport. I don't know what Pacquiao's is so I'm not gonna pretend like I do. But it must be horrible. As far as the high rollers are concerned. You mentioned the asians coming in lol last time I checked Manny was asian. That's called a no brainer. Manny brought in 50,000 to cowboys stadium but how did the gate do? People tend to not bring that up.
