there's no way of knowing when he used it or not, but its highly unlikely that mosley was the first attempt to do this, ESPECIALLY if margo didn't knew about it. if it was all the trainer's doing, then it's even more likely that this happened before

I agree with you on this one,he even broke some dude cheek bone in sparring with 16 oz gloves in Wild Card gym.

Alright... let me ask you this... what was Margarito's best victory when he first called out floyd and was considered this monster and WW elite? Cintron? What I don't understand is that how can you say outright a guy who couldn't beat Daniel Santos in two tries can claim that he is being "ducked" by a guy who has cleared out divisions and was considered elite before Marg was even a whisper. If it weren't for the luster of him being "ducked" by Mayweather do you feel he would be the household name he is? Now i'm not saying he hasn't accomplished anything in his career but he has not accomplished enough to be considered in with the likes of Pacquiao, Mayweather, or even Mosley. He's overrated.

You are kidding right? first fight ended as a NC in the first round by a clash of heads, how did he lose that fight? research before you open up your mouth. Second time around the fight was also stopped due to a gash on Tony's head ruled by a headbutt, a fight Margarito was taking over after the 3rd round and was tagging Santos but the fight was stopped and the decision was awarded to Santos, in his country Puerto Rico...

As far as accomplishments go, three time world champion at Welterweight, reigned the WBO belt for over 5 years. Avoided by all of the top 10 welters at the time when he was a prime fighter in his mid to late 20's. Victories over Clottey, Cotto, Cintron x2, Sergio Martinez at 147 lbs. Gimme a break, this thread is well documented with facts of all of the accomplishments and victories Margarito has earned throughout his career, take the time to read and learn.

All he will ever be, just another sparring partner...last three fights 1 decision and 2 draws...and that last fight against Gato Figueroa was such a snoozer it's not even a joke. Spreading all that broken bone bull**** is what probably got him that fight on TV to begin with lol, just the right publicity at the time.
