this is exactly my point i say cintron beat no one and you bring up the 4 round williams fight where he flew out the ring, i had 2-2 but i didn't really think it was fair to score the 4th round and he lost
then you name another fight where cintron also didn't win which proves my point that cintron has beat no one cintron has a name because he has punching power and was at 1 point a p.r prospct

People who argue that Cintron deserved the Williams decision are idiots. The guy jumped out of the ring and said he couldn't continue, until he realized he was down on the cards....then all the sudden the refs "stopped" him from continuing. Williams was starting slow, in that round he landed a few really good shots and looked to be coming back.

.....either way, how many of Margarito's fights would he have lost had a decision been given in round 4.......Cotto's the first that comes to my mind, and he arguably lost the first 5-6.

Cintron 2X,Martinez and Cotto is decent resume and he had wrong gameplan against Paul Williams if he started faster he would won that fighT!
when did margarito beat sergio?in sergio's 15th pro fight?why didn't he fight sergio now?didn't sergio wanna fight against margarito? sergio is not that same inexperienced fighter anymore and margarito and his team know that why else would they not want to fight the man with the most buzz around him now outside of floyd and pacquiao.
what big wins did martinez and cintron have by the time they fought margarito? no one

The Martinez win has about as much weight as Manny being KO'd against Sinsurat. That was Martinez's 18th fight in his life. Martinez won his first title 3 years after that fight. And that is why that win does not hold as much weight as you think. He didn't beat middleweight champ Martinez. He beat green un tested 17 fights of life boxing experience Martinez. I think you know there is a big difference between the two.

Margarito had like 2 or 3 losses back then when he fought Martinez and Martinez was undefeated prospect!

And Martinez doesnt want to fight Margarito now,if he wanted then
            Margarito would agree immediatly!

              I think you are wrong

They look back then that SERGIO MARTINEZ is future champ and great prospect.

              Margarito was nobody back then!

He deserve credit for that win!

yes he does but everybody inside the boxing world knows he never trained cintron, he oversaw some of his training and gave strategic advise, he spent the rest of his time on his cell phone

cintron didnt leave him for shields for no reason u know

if he refused nazeem's request in front of the commissioners and with his trainer furiously refusing already how would that make him look? if he canceled his first fight in 7 months he wouldnt get a payday. he would have a huge questionmark over his career just like pacquiao has with the steroid theory

I think that win at that time validated Margarito as a B class fighter not much more than that. He deserved some credit but his win against Antonio Diaz was much more meaningful win as he was a proven fighter and had accomplishments.

Lets not forget that Sergio was an athlete that decided to take up boxing late at 20. Not like most boxers out there that start in their teens. Also, this fight was his first fight outside Argentina. It doesn't hold nearly the same weight as a defeat of Martinez today.

I heard same thing about Emanuel Stewart!

                      Dude is ****ty trainer!

My countryman Mario Preskar is sparring partner of Klitschko bro s and Mario s trainer said that Manny Stewart is just like adviser there.

and I disagree on your Margarito s theory

Its like million time worse that he showed this wraps to ****m then that he didnt.

I mean common,no one would even speak today that Margarito didnt want to open his wraps specially for ****m!
