    Pacman has the TALENT;

    Roach has the BRAINS;

    Arum got the PROMOTION BUSINESS;

    You combined this THREE and you got SUCCESS!

    Lets give credit where it is due.

      He didnt struggle.

      That is a myth. Watch the fight. He dominated, but was expected to stop Duran.
      People underestimated Duran, and being an ATG himself, was able to give Hagler problems, but not actually win many rounds, and he did great to last the distance, but only because Hagler took his foot off the gas.

      Hagler's skills were disguised by his aggressive, pressuring style. But if u watch him at his best, his offence was very skillful, his timing, accuracy, range of punches, body shots, counters, were all great. Plus his defence is underrated, he blocked and parried punches very well.

      Id say its almost a tie between him and Pac.
      Pac is faster and has achieved more, but Hagler was a silky smooth switch hitting boxer, who could also brawl.

        The only thing Whitaker lacked was power.
        Other than that he was a complete fighter.

            TS should look up what skill is in a dictionary before proclaiming this bull****.

            For all of you reading this, there's a difference between skill and talent. You can state Pacquiao is one of the most talented and argue he's the most talented, but he's not the most skilled.

            If he fights beyond his prime, people will see what I'm talking about.

              I've never seen a fighter use the southpaw stance like Manny does. The way he uses it to set up his power shots, how he throws "crossover punches" as if he was playing basketball, and he has a great right hand now.

              He's the most well-versed southpaw of all time.
              wtf? do you stand southpaw when you suck manny's ****?

                manny is a good southpaw.
                still not good enough to beat fmj, the marquez fights showed this, fmj would figure him out in first 2rounds, and after that not even roach's best game plan could save pac from getting destroyed.
                thats why i hope the espn dummies continue to insult him, its gonna be a good lesson for the punks when pac gets his face busted by fmj.

                    its not that easy.
                    arum promised margarito a fight with pac already before the first negotiations with GBP, and he stood by his word.
                    maybe next year, i'm sure it will happen..
