    Styles makes fights mate.

And please don't use Pac-Clottey as a barometer, everyone knew why Clottey barely had a gash.

I see it this way. Berto hits arms and gloves, Clottey lands whenever he throws. Then the judges give it to whoever they want.

After several good early and mid rounds Clottey got on the bicycle and coasted the rest of the fight. Had he let his hands go more often he would have got Cotto out of there, for sure. That's what's uninspiring to me...

As in a bicycle moving forward, chasing another bicycle moving backwards? The fact is Cotto ran for his life in the last two rounds, and Clottey did his best to chase him, he threw very little, but he threw whenever he had him cornered or trapped on the ropes.

I agree I thought Clottey vs Cotto was a very entertaining fight.

I would disagree 100% that berto KO's clottey late, I don't think that's possible even if Clottey has severe diarrhea again.

Berto fights ****** sometimes and he can be rocked. It would depend on how Clottey fights but I think he would have a really got shot at beating Berto, which would definitely redeem himself a bit if he were to pull it off. On the other hand if Berto would to win convincingly I think it would really be a solid win for him, especially considering the fact he really hasn't beat any top names at welterweight. Could be a career defining win for him him.

If this fight isn't possible, what do you guys think of Clottey moving to 154 pounds? Would it be easier or harder for him there?

To my recollection he wasn't throwing enough punches; and I remember him hurting Cotto effortlessly. Why decrease your workrate after having success?

LOL that's exactly his battleplan with Pacquiao, and I don't understand why you can't see Berto hitting the mid-section all throughout Clottey covering up.

At 154 he would lose to Martinez and Williams in lopsided decisions, he would beat the rest or be in 50-50 fights with the likes of Angullo.

Pacquiao is a completely different animal then berto though. Guys like Pacquiao will always be impossible for guys like Clottey. It's the same reason behind why Winky looked so horrible against Paul Williams. Like we all know - styles make fights.

Berto doesn't and can't fight anything like pacquiao. He would be much easier and open to hit.
