He already said that Joshua can forget about that fight, cuz Clottey fired Dibbella for Arum

This would be a good fight. Make it happen.

Better than someone unwilling to show heart to win an important fight... or an important round.

And I never said "based on heart alone".

Who the **** would pick Clottey to pick up the pace in the championship rounds of a close fight to win it?

The thought itself is comedy relief.

Berto hasn't been in that situation yet, sinc ehe never foguth any elite fighters. Listen what Clottey did against Pacquiao was inexcusible, he fought to survive and embarassed himself, and what he did against Margarito and Cotto was just plain ****** since he all but had those fights won before he gave them away.

However, Berto is a level below those guys and would get stopped by two (Pacquiao and Margarito without doubt) or all three of the versions of those guys Clottey fought. I just think Berto isn't that good, and using his fights so far are inadequate to say he would easily outpoint Clottey, when a guy like Margarito who's style is wrong for Clottey couldn't. How about you break down how you think that fight would look to you?

If you look back I clearly said Clottey could take the last two rounds off, and still win based on winning the early and mid rounds. Like I said I don't think it would be 5 rounds to five coming into the 11th stanza.

                I already have.

Clottey comes in with his guard high... Berto starts popping his jab as he usually does at the beginning of his fights. Clottey finds home with his straight right. Berto throws combinations while Clottey covers up, touching the body and coming in through the side of the head like Cotto did.

Clottey does his little left hook to the body and head... but few and far between.

Berto takes what Clottey gives, and Clottey takes what Berto gives.

Problem is, Berto is seemingly giving twice what Clottey is giving.

Blocked or not, Berto is throwing punches.. Now when Clottey DOES let his hands go, he touches Andre... it just isn't enough. Berto gains a lead by round 6 by seemingly just letting his hands go, but you can see that if Clottey would step up his pace he would be in the fight.

                But he doesn't.

At least Hatton did it clearly though.
lol at the bold. I never considered Hatton to be a top WW but he was a top fighter and was comfortable at WW which doesn't make it a great win but at least qualifies it as a real fight.

                    2) Oscar was a part time fighter, most time promoter and totally inactive. His ranking was a product of his status as a name more than any real merit.

                    3) Mosley was 38. Nuff said.

                    I'm not buying it.
Oscar had just KO'd Mayorga who was highly ranked in the division at the time and while he was part time it wasn't like he was 2 years from his last fight at the time it was just barely 12 months. Mosley was the top WW and he earned that title beating the the guy who beat the guy regardless of age he showed himself to be the best in impressive fashion. I consider Hatton a solid fighter about B+ to A- at the height of his career as he beat solid competition. I didn't say these were great wins but they were legit fights. And Floyd earned his top spot beating the top guys throughout his career. He was tops before he made it the WW division HBO didn't beat those guys.

You must have seen wrong, since I only said that Clottey would win imo. I clearly said he could take the last few rounds off chill in his corner and have a sandwich and still win. I don't know, but I think chilling in his corner would lead one to believe that he would be doing nothing, leading to him losing the round.

No need to make stuff up now reed.

I did however see you say that Clollazo would easily outpoint Clottey, when the only guy to ever do so was the fighter of the decade. That deserves to be laughed at, I didn't though.
