No need to make stuff up now reed.
    Ah.

I thought you meant he would be so far ahead on points he wouldn't need to do anything in the championship rounds.. hence the sandwich.

    My fault.

I did however see you say that Clollazo would easily outpoint Clottey, when the only guy to ever do so was the fighter of the decade. That deserves to be laughed at, I didn't though.
Feel free to laugh Bully... I think you need to do it more often.

It wouldn't be easy per se`... but I bet the fight is just as close as the Berto fight.

The way Collazo fought Berto he went balls to the wall, letting his hands go in combinations, and very often.

I can see Clottey losing that fight.

However, Berto is a level below those guys and would get stopped by two (Pacquiao and Margarito without doubt) or all three of the versions of those guys Clottey fought. I just think Berto isn't that good, and using his fights so far are inadequate to say he would easily outpoint Clottey, when a guy like Margarito who's style is wrong for Clottey couldn't. How about you break down how you think that fight would look to you?
After the 4th or 5gh, Margarito won every round. Cotto fight maybe, but Margarito just bombed on him at will.

I could jump all over this, and nitpick, but I wont. Clottey wouldn't lose to Collazo who other than output with very little power and leaky defense has little to bother Clottey with.

The thing is CLottey won the first five rounds easily, and then did nothing for seven rounds. That was one of the few fights were I just scratched my head. Also Margarito had to break the punch record to win the fight around 7-5. He deserved to lose that fight mores than the Cotto fight though.

He has a lot to bother Clottey with.

              First thing is legs.

He's slick, he moves his head, and he moves his legs.

Clottey is flat footed and stationary for the most part.

He's also an on and off fighter, he isn't a counter puncher.

Collazo could come in and flurry and back out again.

Clottey would have his straight right that he uses, which is a good punch. He just never throws it enough, unless he's fighting Zab Judah... someone who doesn't know what the word "adapt" means.

I think it would be a very close fight.

Not that I want to switch to this topic, but the reason Collazo did so well against berto is becasue of Bertos minimal inside game, and lack of lower body strength (since he was being pushed around at times). Clottey is a better inside fighter than Collazo, and while he may lack heart and desire, he doesn't lack strength and wouldn't get pushed back an inch by Collazo.

I don't think Collazo would need to inside fight Clottey to beat him.

He is more flashy than slick. He is very easy to hit, too easy to be called slick imo.

He's slicker than Zab, that's for sure.

He also moves his head a **** ton more than Zab.

He also doesn't quit like Zab.
