I don't see Cotto KOing Vanes 2 fights removed from the Pac beatdown. I see him winning a very competetive yet clear victory over the youngster. He has too much experience on this stage to lose right now. Roach's training will not make a difference. Cotto is better.

I just saw Vanes from a far here in Glendale and man that eyebrow looks pretty bad. It's just waiting to be reopened. Granted, Cotto's more powerful punches are left handed punches, I think chances are the cut gets reopened sometime in the fight. In which case, I can see a TKO victory for Miguel.

If the cut isn't that bad, I'd still give Miguel an edge with his experience, his trainer, and Vanes's instinct to just keep throwing the same 1-2 combination in the face of adversity. I have Cotto by a close, but competitive UD.

the eyebrow is totally fine bro... just a portion of the hair is gone cuz of stitches in the past... other than that it's completely healed and not a concern whatsoever

That's good, I wouldn't want him to be tripping out about the cut reopening and not be as focused on his right side, where the Cotto money shots will be going after.

I really want to see Vanes try to incorporate a rather cautious, but effective inside game against Cotto. Vanes doesn't need much leverage on his body shots, and they still look devastating.

I think people are overlooking the height and reach advantage that vanes has over Cotto,cotto is better but Vanes would be a real test for miguel
