over exaggerating the catchweight against cotto's normal official welterweight weigh-ins have been at 146, only needed to lose 1 lb to the agreed catchweight...but yet people dogging pac to fight p william, who fights as a middleweight, hasnt fought as a welterweight in what, 2 yrs? that in itself is a bigger watchweight to meet pac at welterweight.

and how about margarito, a career lifetime welterweight who tested the waters at jr middleweight, his only fight in that division about a month ago...so its not like margarito agreeing to 150 for a jr middleweight would be considered ridiculous...being that margarito looked sluggish and slow and out of his element at 154 anyway.

so, ok...people are dogging pac for catchweight 150lb fight against margarito at jr middleweight, but these same people are dogging pac for not fighting p williams, who is willing to drop down to welterweight to fight pac, in which williams havent fought as a welterweight in 2 yrs and will need to drop 2 division...what gives? wtf?

you cant look at it one way...dont freekeen contridict yourselves...

          yes true...
even after knowing that there is a catchweight for the delahoya/pac fight that you pic delahoya to win by easy KO...then make a big deal out of the catchweight as an excuse after pac reconfigured delahoyas pretty face...that is pretty lame.

the catchweight for pac against delahoya was not pacs doing, it was a freekeen circus fight that was meant to be a dream fight...at what weight was that fight suppose when it got made? it had to be at an agreed weight right? pac moved up two division, delahoya went down 2...delahoya said in 24/7 that he felt strong as ever...so WTF?

the pac/cotto fight, people act like cotto was a 147 welterweight, but the real deal is that cotto normally had an official weigh-in of 146 for all of his welterweight fights...so what, big deal...that cotto had to lose 1lb to meet pacs catchweight agreement. 1 lb is nothing...if p williams is willing to fight pac down at welterweight, after fighting as a middleweight for almost 2 yrs, that in itself is about 15 lbs of catchweight to give up against pac...so cottos 1lb catchweight and margaritos catchweight of 4lbs is nothing.

stop crying about pac being a catchweight king...the delahoya fight was a joke...the catchweight for the cotto fight was more than reasonable...the catchweight fight against margarito is reasonable...the catchweight that paul williams is willing to give up to fight pac is just as much of a joke as the delahoya fight...but yet, anti pac fans will say why not fight paul williams since he is willing to fight pac at welterweight...then those same people will say "hey, paul williams can fight as a welterweight"...so whats the difference if margarito says he can fight pac at 150? people have contridiction addiction.

If you don't know a thing about boxing divisions shut d *** up. If you haven't researched every fight that took place in history shut d *** up. If you're gonna make this a race issue shut d *** up. WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO are not run by Filipinos. Ya moron. If you think you know more than all these boxing commissions combined, put up you own. Superwelterweight starts at 147.1 lbs and ends at 154 lbs for your information. ******o puto.

                  please educate yourself!

isn't the junior middle weight is any weight from 148lbs to 154lbs? so any weight in between is acceptable. if both fighters agree, do you, writters of this website and the boxings fans, have any reason at all to disagree? not even the sunctioning body, i think. Isn't it that if a fighter exceed the weight limit, he is being penalized by stripping his belt before the fight if he is a title holder? so what's the difference if the fight will happen at 150lbs? will it be unfair to margarito? oh, maybe it's unfair if pac demands that margarito should weight 150lbs and pac may weight higher than the 150lbs.

In a JMW fight, both fighters can weigh between 147+ and 154 lbs.

In a catch-weight fight, the max that a fighter can weigh is LESS than 154lb.....
                    150lb for example.

It is cheating history to fight for a JMW title at a catch-weight, against a cheating bum who currently could not even compete with the top welter's.

That would be obvious to you, if you knew anything about boxing.
