I personally would not mind. Just want to see them back in the ring. Who is the *****, who ducks, PR issues is not my main interest. If ever Cotto/Floyd get back in the ring together or with different opponents, I'll still watch.

The way I look at it, Pacquiao may not be available to fight for years after his next fight with whoever. I don't know why people are assuming a May/Pac can be made in 2011.

While most or your posts, I agree with(Horus), this one I do not. There are still lots of people that think that FMJ ducked Cotto. They also feel that Cotto would be a legit challenge to him. So, why not fight him? Pac is already fighting Margarito and I feel like, if he does fight Cotto, he can kill 2 birds with one stone.

1. He can shut up the people that are saying that Cotto is back and that he ducked him(although many will never be satisfied).

2. He will DEFINETLY kick Pac ass via PPV buys FMJ/Cotto vs. Pac/Margarito and cement(even further) his claim to a bigger cut of the money.

I want to see him fight Pac more than anyone, but FMJ has earned his respect as the cash cow and the one that calls the shots.

If your reasoning for not wanting this fight is that Cotto has so little chance against to beat him, then what is your reasoning for supporting a FMJ vs. Pac fight? Do you honestly believe that Pac has MUCH more chance in defeating FMJ than Cotto does? I don't.

Look my own point behind this thread is Mayweather is fighting in his last days
which means probably 2 or 3 fights left and he is done.
In those 2 or 3 fights he should not waste one on Cotto... IMO.
