Co-sign here!!Vanes is big at 154,young & strong with good skills!!I don't think Cotto should go up against that kind of power right now!!

If I were Cotto I'd take on Berto around 150 & beat the brakes off that man!!But Vanes is a really good prospect & his size & punch are gonna bother Cotto a lot!!

      Uggghhhhhh!!!! Really???

I guess Cotto's taking 2010 lightly. Maybe it'll be good for him to get ready to jump back into the big fights. But I don't expect that he'll fight the winner of Marg vs Pacquiao being the obvious next fight for Pac SHOULD be then fighting Mayweather (unless of course Margarito pulls off the miracle.)

But I think this further tells me his days at 147 are done.

why are people acting like vanes is not a decent fight? the kid is coming off a win over another undefeated prospect and being that cotto has only had one fight at 154 against a non puncher this fight will be a good test to see how well he handles a jrmw punch. cotto should get the win but lets not act like cotto is the cotto of 2007. every young fighter who has pop and can take a decent punch will be a test for miguel until he proves that those 2 beatings are behind him.

I don't think this fight will happen nor a rematch with Pacquiao neither. I rather him fight Berto it makes more sense. I do see Cotto facing Margarito in 2011 even if Margarito loses to Pac I think the fight will still happen.

that was never going to happen to begin with. maybe if cotto looks bad at 154 in his next couple of fights that fight will happen.

damn... how come berto cant get a fight ? i think hes very prepared to step up in competition, it seems cotto doesnt wanna risk losing with a opportunity to fight pacquiao for more money on the table.

but berto did the damage to himself, he was suppose to fight mosley in september i think, but he asked for a 50/50 split.. he and lu dibella should be smacked for that, for being ****** fucck$, now berto wont fight in 2010...hes young but the years just keep going by, he stuck.

Cotto is far better off fighting Berto.

Vanes is much easier than Berto. I don't mind too much though it is still pretty good comp and Cotto can step off the as a bit.

This is definitely Top Rank, not Cotto.

                      And it's ****ing bull****.
