Exactly, but 7 page contract is a rather small contract by any standards, my apartment lease was on 12 pages, and my work contract is on 9 pages. Some of the mortgages I saw were more then 50 pages long.

But you are right nonetheless, no one but Team K2 and Team Povetkin/his promoters have the actual contract and what you saw in the article were NOT the lines in the contract, they were words of Wilfred Zauerlend.

So for anyone to actually say wether the contract was unfair, they will have to at least see the actual contract, no?

from what I can see here, Klitschko just treat Povetkin in a way that is not honorable, threatening him with fines and all that

what is shocking to me is really how Klitschko abuse of his power as the Champion and purse bid winner

Who is Povetkin and why in the world K2 should've baby-talk with him and his team? He was mandatory FOR 3 years, for cripes sake, and wasn't able to get in the ring with Wlad. Oh wait, not ring, not even press-conference to promote HIS OWN FIGHT!

why has Haye gotten into press conferences and promoting the fight with Wlad if he was not happy with the contract ? why not just stop all negociation and never accept the fight under those conditions instead ?

Because Haye was going to fight Wlad but Setenta went bust and he would be getting paid nothing.

Vitali offered exactly the same slave contract that Haye had already signed with Wlad, but Haye recieved a better offer to fight Valuev and chose that fight instead.

No health insurance coverage? No hotel accomodations? No food allowance? No transportation?

Damn..... Those are basics that a promoter has to provide for a fighter in a title fight.

That's because if K2 paid for this themselves Povetkin would demand 1st class flight, accommodation and entourage. This is actually a common part of most contracts nowadays to stop the other fighter taking the piss and free loading along with his best buddies - remember(Bowe & Tyson)

Besides, didn't Monte Barratt complain of the same things being done to him from Haye?
