The winner of the Purse Bid dictate the terms. In this case it is K2, the promotion of the Champ.
You have no idea what you are talking about. The winning promoter dictates location, venue, date and items like that. There are form contacts when a purse bid is involved. The contracts have to follow a certain form. The IBF does not have form contracts and they are the only sanctioning body without form contracts. The WBC, WBA and WBO have form contracts. That's why Povetkin is the only opponent Klitschko allowed to head to a purse bid. They knew once the bid was over the IBF rules would not prevent them from putting any terms they desire in the contract. That forces the mandatory to sign the contract or else he's out.

The negotiations failed so the fight went to purse bid.

Team Povetkin wants this and that and so one.

And if Sauerland won the bid, Sauerland could dictate it. They want the fight in Moscow. K2 not. So they make the bigger offer.

So let me get this straight, Povetkin is crying foul because he has to pay his own insurance and travel costs (out of his $2 million dollar GUARANTEED purse) and he is bitching that he can be fined if he refuses to help promote the fight with press conferences and media appearances?

That's hilarious. What a f'king little coward *****. Sauerland and Povetkin should rot in hell. They have no business in professional boxing. GTFO.

as you can see, I quoted myself
this quote is taken out of a thread in which I posted yesterday
it was a critical joke addressed to the brothers and those who always say ''where did you see the contract to believe it is a slave contract, scan it''
so I made my own little contract

funny thing is that mine has 5 points

this portion of the real contract posted by BPP is presented in 5 points too

in my contract I was particularly critical of the fact that the Klits are money hungry, they look to keep it all for themselves

in this true portion of the contract, we can see it is a fact, as they don't want to pay for costs they should pay for, and Povetkin is not honorably treated as he should be

            very ironic

Did'nt your momma tell you not to hate on people?

from what I can see here, Klitschko just treat Povetkin in a way that is not honorable, threatening him with fines and all that

then there are the money issues

what is shocking to me is really how Klitschko abuse of his power as the Champion and purse bid winner
What do you think of Floyd Mayweather? Klits agreed to rediculous drug demands. That **** is'nt cheap and who do you think had to caugh up the money for that BS!?

The problem with the IBF's rules, is that it allows the champion to put any type of terms that he desires in a contract and the mandatory challenger is FORCED to sign the contract or lose his mandatory shot. That's the reason why there were problems here and why the IBF needs form contracts.
Who's fault is it that Povetkin is sanctioned in the IBF? Not Wlads. Whenever it's an American superstar getting his own way I don't see anyone making a big deal. Wlad is more than likely paying for that BS test. That **** is'nt cheap.

How would you like it if your company made you pay for health care? I wonder what Wlad is making but hey, he calls the shots. Povetkin's options were to play by the rules or step aside and he chose the latter.
