What a mess these Mayweathers did.

In my book, the March proposal by Floyd was all a hoax. He was never interested in the fight the whole time. He made everyone to believe that he wanted the fight. Everything he agreed to was all fake, ie, $1,000,000 fine, gloves, etc. Arum was too naive to believe it was real. The first thing that I found strange was the date, which was too early even in Floyd's standards. My su****ion grew when Arum was scouting for a venue. The response from Mayweather camp was nil. I sensed that the interest was not mutual. In the end, he finally admitted that he is not interested. Most likely because he feared all his bluffs would be called leaving him with no excuse but to agree with a heavy heart.

I think its the promoter's way of promoting other possible fights such as Pac/Marg, Cotto/Floyd jr, by dangling the Pac/Floy jr fight scheduled next year.

One of biggest lie is when he tried to convice public that Victor Ortiz didnt quit and that he talked to the commision and that they say that they stop the fight cuz of the cut!

i don't believe Arum at all. he's trying to make it seem like golden boy wants to save face for mayweather but it's just not believable. Arum never wanted this fight. As greedy as Arum is he'll do whatever it takes to protect his cash cow. It's understandable just not respectable.

O.K., break down Ellerbes statement -
1)Here are the facts," Ellerbe wrote "Al Haymon, Richard Schaefer and myself talk on a regular basis.
Obviously believable.
2) and the truth is no negotiations have ever taken place
Negotiations - a discussion set up or intended to produce a settlement or agreement... So, was it a direct discussion? No. TALKS? Most definately. (As stated by Dan Raphael on ESPN FNF and a *cough* "misquoted" VIDEO interview by ODLH) Did Team Mayweather know that "talks" were going on regarding a mega fight between FMJ and Manny Pacquiao? Yes, unless the entire Mayweather Team was in Siberia with no phone, television or radio contact, and they came back the day after the "time clock" had expired - and Bob Arum held a phone conference with the whole world. Interesting.
3) nor was there ever a deal agreed upon between Team Mayweather or Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao on November 13.
This is not disputed, everyone knows that it had not YET been agreed to by Team May or FMJ, hence the deadline clock awaiting FMJ DECISION.
4) Either Ross Greenberg or Bob Arum is not telling the truth, but history tells us which one is lying.
Notice he doesn't add himself as one that could be lying...

Here is what Schaeffer said:
"You read the statement from Leonard and I stand behind that statement, and I have nothing else to add."

A lie detector wouldn't tell us anything. It could easily come up with both Arum and Schaeffer passing it because it's all SEMANTICS. It's all wording, and both of them know how to play the game.

It is funny however that when the supposed "no negotiations" were going on that Schaeffer admonished Arum for talking to the press by saying "As you can see, you don't see any quotes from me."

According to this article, Schaeffer said "I really cannot comment" on the status of the NEGOTIATION (because of the mutually agreed upon gag order). Now, he stands behind Ellerbes statement that there was no "negotiations". I also found it funny that Schaeffer was giving a quote on not being quoted about giving any quotes. Maybe HE was "misquoted". LMAO!
And lastly, I find it almost comical that the only person whom can either "confirm" or "deny" what actually happened, is the only one not making any statements.

Side note: Does it really matter? Is there going to be a fight between FMJ and MP on November 13? NO. The Floyd fans and the Pac fans are so fierce in proving their side is right that they aren't seeing that we are all being played as fools. Neither sides Team is innocent, period. Meanwhile, both Floyd and Manny are going on with their lives. Let's just move on........
