According to manager Ken Saunders, former four-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield is planning to fight again in October. A deal is close for the match to take place at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. An opponent has yet to be determined. If all goes well, Holyfield would return to action in January.

I say if he can keep winning, why not? Maybe finally put an end to this. Why not throw him Chris Arreola, Adamek or somebody with a decent name thats a contender. I don't know if they'd fight him but I think that'd be good for him. if loses maybe he'd finally get it through his head to retire, but if he wins, **** why not get a title shot?

if he fights vitali he will get seriously hurt, hes the last truly great U.S. heavyweight american champ and deserves one last chance at a title and career payday

but i want him to leave the game while he still can and not fight past what he should be fighting at like ali

Holyfield beating a Klitschko to become the oldest HW champion ever and the only 5 time HW World champion... that would be sensational

Foreman did it, why can't he ? he already did it against Valuev after all, but Klitschko is no Valuev

sure why not? in many eyes including mine he beat valuev as lackluster as the fight was & a good knockout of 41 year old botha...thats better fighters than tua, rahman or briggs have faced since coming back other than barrett.
