Brain damage and bankruptcy is a deadly combination. Holyfield never learned the Rocky 5 lesson.

I said it yesterday in another thread, if we see the Evander Holyfield that was in the Valuev fight (constant lateral movement, pot shotting, jumping in with left hooks, and maintaining the fight at a distance), he would give Vitali plenty of problems.

Not sure if it would be enough to beat him, but Holyfield showed an effective style in that fight. Sosnowski looked way faster than Vitali, so that tells me that V is slowing down a lot.

Vitali wouldn't take this fight so....this will never ever happen.

Some people actually want to see Vitali fight Valuev. Vitali vs. Holyfield would be better if that's the case, because Holyfield beat Valuev but got robbed.

It's pretty bad when you got less clank in your balls than a 48 year old disgraced former great fighter. Holy is putting that ***** Haye to shame.

I don't think Holyfield could win now but ehhh whatever, it might be interesting.

Who is the "disgraced former fighter"? Do you mean Holyfield?? I hadn't heard that he was in any sort of real trouble... other than a spot of bother over non payment of support for his children... what was it all about??

on another point. I am living in Panama, in panama City. The guard at the door is a boxing fan, (we are going together to see the Anselmo Montoya world title fight in mid August)
and he was very sure of his info, when he told me that during the time Margarito was suspended, that he had spent several months in jail in Mexico. Have you or anyone heard anything about this??
