Hopkins only big fights were with guys MUCH smaller than him. The middleweight division has ****** over the last ten years. He's not even in the top 10 all time middleweights.

you make a good point, but regardless, Taylor is not Tarver (close by last name tho )... and to be honest, as much as i love him, i know Jones didn't go into that fight with Tarver with the hunger to win. That's the difference. Hopkins has the desire/hunger/drive to win.

now i think I hit the nail on the head.

When Hopkins blows this guy out of the water I want to hear the excuses you haters have ready. He beats Trinidad - Trinidad was blown up. He beats De La Hoya - De La Hoya was blown up. He beats Eastman - Eastman wasn't good. He beats Taylor - Taylor was still young. No matter what he does, haters will hate.

lmao, no way he is gonna please anyone jack. He isnt very apealing to most fight fans. I loved his 2 fights with Echols and i think that is the last time he was really challenged.Taylor might give him the same type fight but unless B-Hop. finally shows his age then i dont see Taylor winning this.
