        did anyone know clottey? didn't margarito take about a year and a half off then fought clottey and looked like a ****ty fighter then lost to williams

          Cotto and Margarito not great fighters? Don't get me wrong they arn't any better than Castillo or Corrales but come on now not great fighters? Those would of been major wins especially when his next fight was against such a deeply flawed fighter in Ricky Hatton who was a junior Welter to boot.

            Pistol I was talking about clottey and marg. I will buy that cotto was in the mix but he wasn't fully campaigning at 147 when floyd started there.

              But he went up in weight instead. Thats what some forget. Instead of cotto he fought ODH at 154.

                Regardless he was still a top tier WW who wasn't some Jimmy Braddock Cinderella story long shot and he wasn't the welter weight who lost to that Jimmy Braddock Cinderella story long shot either.
