If you are, then there is nothing left to be said.

Actually I would think of him diffrently! I'm not one of these knownothings that thinks Floyd hasn't fought any tough compatition because he has!

Hes a sure shot HOF fighter who's beat some really "good" fighters but when you wanna call yourself the best well people like me are gonna want you to prove it. So that means "good" compatition is just not enough.

You left out the following. Instead of marg (2 fights removed from losing to daniel santos) and Cotto he fought Zab ( ibf ww champ former lineal champ) and Baldo (lineal and undisputed ww chanp). Williams and Berto 5 years ago were not serious contenders. Instead of clottey he fought the consensus #1 ww(mosley) and fought the won the 154 title vs ODH at 154 for $30 mil. Is that resume really that bad?

Honestly, you would have chosen your path instead of floyds?

Mayweather is a fantastic boxer, but at the end of the day you can't call yourself the greatest of all time if you can't back up your boasts. You have to fight the best guys out there and prove it. It's quite simple, even a ******ed chimp could understand that.

Fair point. It seems alot of posters only point to the last 3-5 yrs rather than the whole resume. Reviewing the whole resume I think shows floyd has got in with the best at those weights.

I'm sorry but his resume at 147 is not wonderful. Not when you call yourself the greatest. Floyd was a fantastic boxer at the lower weights and i give him a lot of credit. Not at 147 i don't. The division has been stacked with talent in the time Floyd has been in it.

pistol you may be right. Manny may want it more but IMO its because he can earn 3x his biggest payday to date. Its not because he wants to prove himself against the best.

Genero Hernandez and Diego Corrales are not wins that I think make you the best all time. Quality wins yes but make you the best all time no!

Fine. But Margarito and cotto in 2005 were not great ww's. Niether was clottey, berto williams or manny. Cotto was the best of this group at that point but he was still the jr ww champ. he had not yet fully campaigned at 147.

This is why I think you are holding floyd to an impossible standard. It;s like you are inflating the value of the guys he didn't fight. I get why you don't think he is the best and why you don't like him.

But purposely undervaluing his resume at 147?
