      Muhammad Ali had 5 losses.

Sugar Ray Robinson had 19 losses.

      Henry Armstrong had 21 losses.

Shoot, Michael Jordan himself lost hundreds of times and was cut from his high school basketball team.

I guess after your first Pro win everyone is undefeated, but only the skilled can get out of fights like with people like Chevaz, Castilo, Manfreddie, Mitchell, Baldomir, Corrales, Corely, Zab, Hatton, Oscar, Mosely, Marquez and remain undefeated...U can say he isnt fighting anyone...But to do over a million buys a fight SOMEONE thought those opponents were able to win...considering ******* talk "People only pay to see FLoyd lose"...then whats the big deal when he wins??

I guess cuz he hasnt lost they havent been threats??

SO the only person at WW that Pac has fought is Cotto??? cuz the ones floyd fought, pac fought right after..

And everytime FLoyd steps in the ring he takes a chance on losing his "0". He's been in the ring 41 times and has walked out a winner 41 times. What makes u think his 42 will scare him anymore then the other 41? If he was so scared of losing his 0 to Manny then ask yourself....where is Manny's 0??? I believe Manny lost 3 times, ko twice by no name fighters?? They werent even legit contenders...so saying that Floyd is avoiding legit contenders is ******...Dont be mad that FLoyd is undefeated, be glad that an American boxer is still dominating the sport with all these foreigners on hand.

Its hard work being on top, when everyone on the botto is pulling u down.

And since when do we praise people for losing and getting they ass beat?? I thought losers walked?? People making threads like losing is the new thing...lol..All i do is win win win no matter what!

Almost all great fighters have a few losses on their record. The best ones usually go a while fighting limited opposition and remain undefeated but may drop one or two once the fight the elites. Having an undefeated record is impressive but when you claim to be the greatest of all time and make up excuses upon excuses to not fight the most legit threat to losing that 0, the record means nothing and your rep goes in the trash. Floyd's marketability will be nothing if he does not fight Pac.....you can already see it happening and the deadline has not been even reached yet....it will get beyond worse for him. Youtubers, various media, talkshows, FNF, Dan Rafael, etc...will al be calling him a bush

Undefeated means nothing when you avoided those fighters in their prime who has a best chance of beating you. Having 0 in your resume doesn't automatically equals greatness. When you lost and how you dealt with it... this will show how really great you are. Take a look at this. Back then when Hamed was undefeated his first loss to Barerra he retired. Before his loss people thought he was great like Floyd but now? Another example: In terms of greatness, Floyd 0 record <<<< Pac 3 losses. Why?

I can't believe there are people here who voted 0 lose is more important than fighting for legacy.. It's so obvious whoever answered 0 loses are important are *****s who defend Floyd without a care of floyd doing to his career. They just want to wipe Floyd's ass lol

It's called legacy brother. As a boxer you strive for the day to come when you fight the biggest fight of your life. That is Pac vs May. Both should embrace it.

                  It's how legacy is made.

greatness is measured not only by one parameter..and not only through one microscope

more so if we are trying to say who the goat is............

ali on the height of his bravado proclaimed himself as the greatest...which we could say is a claim for being the goat then....

now, many people believe ali is still the goat...overlooking the 5 losses he had....why?

bcoz ali had victories that put the 5 losses into the waste bins.....

victories in and out of the ring that made up his legacy in boxing
