in the oscar thread you claim tht floyd had more balls tho you refiuse to say why you think that......you refused to vote too,we all know it was so obviuos who had the better comp........it was clear you said what you said since you hate oscar..meaing youre doing what you think is messed up others are doing.lol..that is all i was sayin.....
The Ring reputation left when GBP bought it... And, you should know that.

That is IMDAZED opinion. IMDAZED also said 7 day cutoff and 50-50 as being fair again his opinion? How is that garbage? While Mak also said 7-10 50-50 split somewhere around middle is fair too? Was Mak speaking garbage? But, again that is their opinion.

I don't vote on any public polls but I do give my opinion on all of them. The only reason why I don't vote is cuz I like to see which posters voted for what. Something I can't do if I vote.

The only time I do vote is when the poll is not public. Since I can't see who voted for who anyways I would just vote.

Oscar had more balls? Really why? Cuz he gave Whitaker a rematch in a close fight? Oh that is right he didn't. Or cuz he gave Quartey a rematch in a close fight? Oh that is right he didn't. Or cuz he gave Trinidad a rematch after Tito looked like a beast after their fight? Oh that is right he didn't.... But, look at Floyd close fight with Castillo. A fight that I thought he lost. Super close fight. He gave a rematch to. A rematch he didn't have to give but he did it. Yet Oscar gave an old Chavez a rematch in a fight that was not even close. Really that is showing more balls to you?

Oscar resume seemed to have the better comp. Cuz of the big names he fought. Oscar fooled a lot of people. He fought a lot of big names when those big names were not on their best.

Hey boxing expert, which group of fighters is more impessive (strictly name basis):

Which group of fighters would give Mayweather a better resume?

Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah, Carlos Manuel Baldomir, Shane Mosley

        Or

Miguel Cotto, Joshua Clottey, Paul Williams, Antonio Margarito

How do you know how much boxing knowledge bob ryan & wilbon have based on a 30 minute show where they talk about all sports & they have no control on the content?

          How?
Come on man. Do you actually follow these people?? Or just read articles on NSB about the show?

Bob Ryan is a reporter for the Boston Globe and he has his own talk show on the NESN and the sport he talks about 99.9% of the time is BASKETBALL.

          I listen to HIS show.

Wilbon specializes in Football, NBA and Baseball man he doesnt follow or cover boxing at all. Like ever....lol.

Hell is it safe to say that the last time ESPN has talk with Floyd it had something to do with Pac?

that is not the point, we are talking about PTI and ESPN actually discussing boxing which they rarely do and when they Do it is always about Mayweather, in case you haven't noticed ESPN is on that MMA/UFC Bandwagon, UFC Events are on ESPN PPV, they care about the UFC more then they do boxing, that could also be the reason why the RARELY talk about boxing

yeah they asked Mayweather about fighting Pacman just like when they had Pacman on to promote the Clottey fight they was asking him about fighting Mayweather

bottom line...ESPN don't give a **** about boxing all they care about is Mayweather and a little about Pacman, besides those fighters they could careless

It's like this: If you follow golf, you know that there's 4 tournaments every year called "majors." Now, what keeps the best players coming back to these tourneys it isn't only the prestige/history, but it also has the largest prize pool of any other tourneys, and more sponsors tend to wanna sponsor you if you win those. That's what gives golf majors "value" to the players.

With the way boxing works, even though the lineal belt has more prestige/history, it's all about prize money. So if I had the dilemma of fighting a guy for a lineal belt for $1 million or fighting a guy for the WBA belt for $2 million (for various reasons), then I (and ALL boxers) would fight the second guy. So the value of the lineal belt goes down to all the other belts' level because of the lack of incentive and demand for it.

Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
If we going about prizefight and the bigger money. Then that means you should give a pass to every fighter who fights the bigger money fight than the most dangerous one...

I am not willing to give that pass.

                  Little about Pac? OK

When they interviewing Floyd. And, Floyd is their trying to promote his fight with Shane.

And, all Wilbon and Dan are asking is about Pac. Doesn't sound to me like "all they care about is Mayweather and a little about Pacman"

And, that actually sounds to me like they care about a lot of the Pacman...

But, hey that is just me.
