Manny is the biggest catch weight bull**** fighter. He does not fight other champions at the weight limit. And Roach will gladly put the challenger in an unfair position on fight night. Stop "---ing around and fight at the weight limit or stay out of the weight Class. People are on to you and like myself we are watching, and will not pay for another "BULL**** CATCHWEIGHT FIGHT"

Pacquiao vs Cotto II is garbage. No good to the sport of boxing. Pacquiao worked Cotto through out the fight and the same would happen if they ever fight again. BORRRRIIIIIIINNNNNNG

IMHO, Cotto's only chance of defeating Pacquiao is to slow down the pace by superimposing his physical size to back Manny up. He needs to rough Manny up on the inside, in order to keep him on the outside because Cotto is at his best when he's coming forward and Pacquiao doesn't like to fight backing up. However, that type of fighting, is all contingent upon, who's refereeing that night. I agree with Roach, he is not going to win against Manny by standing and trading toe to toe.

Not quite. See the post above yours. It's all about the $$$ for uncle Bob. If he can find a way to make money off this fight, he wouldn't hesitate to put it on again.

Here are some of the angles he could possibly use to make money from a rematch.

          - press from fighting in the middle east
          - huge site fee
          - 8th weight division title shot for Pacquiao
          - Cotto's chance at revenge with a new trainer

Another point you can add to that list: IF this upcoming fight is Pac's last, if it's not against Mayweather... it can be argued why SHOULDN'T it be for a chance at a title in an 8th weight division?

though if he doesn't get Mayweather, I'd much rather see Pac versus Margarito (or better yet Pwill or Sergio)--assuming he fights beyond november 13.

The only way the fight has merit is if Cotto wins (ex post facto) but it does nothing to boost Manny's prestige or glory. It would be like Cotto beating Yuri Foreman again. Yuri is a credible fighter, a true warrior, but the only people who want to see that fight are people who believe that Yuri can win.

I would love to see Cotto dismantle Pacquiao, but I do not think he can do it (possible, but not the way to bet). I do not want to see arum feed Cotto to Pacquiao again. If it is at a catchweight...well, there goes Pacquiao's legacy.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. My brother has been living in Dubai the last several years and says there are a ton of Europeans, asians and filipinos out there working.

On top of that, I'm sure they wouldn't offer to host a fight (wherever the location is that Arum is referring to) unless they felt it was lucrative for them.

Can't you effing read? Roach said Pac would fight Cotto @ 154, no catch-weight! The reason they fought @ 145 vs. Cotto is because they weren't sure how Pac would fare at welterweight. After that, they fought Clottey @147, didn't they?

                      read more, mofo!
