I have been hard on Freddie lately but I have to respect him for stating no catch weight. He is entitled to his opinion but I see quite a bit of improvement from Cotto just dont know the one fight will be enough to get him a very tough win over Manny. Of course not even Freddie knows what 154, bigger gloves will do to Manny so time will tell maybe.

Agree. I'm tired of the Top Rank circle jerk. Win or lose, I want to see new fighters thrown into the mix.

We all know it's all about the business now, so I doubt we'll see anything but the combination of Cotto/Pacquiao/Margarito for the next year or so.

This story line has happened before many times through boxings history, and the great thing about boxing is that no outcome is predetermined.

Steward could come up with a fantastic gameplan to beat Pac

Pac could be affected by the weight or the gloves

Pac could be affected by his personal situation, its not like he now doesnt have very important duties outside of the ring

And of course as in any boxing match Cotto could catch him and stop him early

the opposite could also play out with Pac dominating again

This could be a very exciting and great fight possibly leading to a great trilogy, or it could be another historical moment in the career of Manny Pac.

True good point I wasn't thinking

I understand where you coming from and realize the intangibles. As boxing fans we all know anything can happen, or as Merchant likes to put it, "the theater of the unexpected."

For me, it's just too soon, the interest isn't there. Maybe after a quality win or two from Cotto I might change my mind.

If the pac floyd fight gets cut, It should be Cott vs Marg, and Pac vs hmm I want to say either Williams or Bradley. Maybe even Berto, he has speed and power, it might be a little early but I do think he has a shot.

Forget about Mayweather, Cotto, and Margarito, Pacquiao should fight Bradley! He's the best jr. welterweight in the world! He's better than Cotto and maybe as good as Mayweather. Bradley is young and strong! If Manny beats him, it would further enhance his legacy as the best fighter of all time!

Did you read the article, Roach said no catchweight; at 154lbs Pacquiao beats Cotto everyday of the week. Please read the article first.
