Only a few days to go before we get our answer on a Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Manny Pacquiao fight. An agreement was sent to Mayweather for his approval. If Mayweather approves, the fight would happen on November 13 in Las Vegas. Mayweather was given a mid-July deadline to approve the terms. If Pacquiao can't get Mayweather for November, Top Rank has two possible opponents who are ready and willing. [Click Here To Read More]

Exactly, so why duck Mayweather and fight him again?

which is why he wants the fight. I dont understand how pac fans are okay with Pacquiao getting a new title and a new weight class by beating someone who he already destroyed, and who IMHO was only allowed to fight for the jmw title, just so they could set up this fight. I'd much rather see Pac fight Marg at this point.

Pretty much sums up how the general boxing public feels about this fight.

That's why Arum is talking about going to the Middle East. The interest in the U.S. for a Cotto/Pacquiao rematch at the moment a relatively low. By setting up a fight east, he is guaranteed a huge site fee, and plenty of global press. Just as he did with the Cowboys and Yankee stadium, he's selling us on the location, just as much as the fight.

Good, so can we rule him out now?
