You don't know ****. HBO pays Mayweather and Pacquiao nothing because they are on PPV, HBO promote the PPV and get a percentage of every PPV sold. So Mayweather and Pacquiao are actually paying HBO.

Yeah, HBO do not like doing PPVs because they get little money and the fight doesn't take place on the network. If they don't do the PPV as requested though, promoters simply do their own PPVs (like Arum's Latin Fury/Pinoy Power, ect)
