It's so blatantly obvious Floyd is protecting that "0." He thinks retiring undefeated with make him GOAT, at least in his mind. He needs to take this fight for the fans and for the sports, and it's not like he's getting nothing....he's going to make 50+ million dollars.

Bottom line manny pac should not get 50-50 he has not sold more PPV buys than mayweather!!! add up manny pacs PPv and add up mayweathers PPV numbers who ever has more gets more Period!!!

think about it if you invest 100k and another investor invest 50k when the profits come in who should get more???

I'm curious but do you think past PPV buys are going to have any effect on the ticket sales of this fight? Do you think one fighter or the other is going to be the driving force in ticket sales? I think 50-50 is a very fair split because they are each going to sell one-half of every ticket.

This is where i think alot of people are getting confused as far as thinking 50-50 is fair. The world knows this fight is going to do numbers but nobody negotiates on the premise of what the fight will do, the negotiations stem from the numbers historically that both fighters have already brought!

So no u cant say the fight will do this number and it wont without these 2 guys so 50-50 is fair. In being a chef its stated your only as good as your last meal...same applies here. Historically with the same opponents..mayweather has the edge. With there most recent fight..mayweather brought in twice as much views and had a record making gate. If he is already worth more there is no sense business wise to just drop your value so "EVERY1" can be happy...that would make u an idiot and a bad business man, and a fool and his money....

This is somewhat true, but seriously when was the last time Mayweather said anything? If Arum is lying out his ass I'd like for someone from Mayweather's camp to call him out for it, because they should.

At the end of the day, unless he can show us why it isn't his fault, Mayweather comes out looking bad to most people because it looks to me and probably most people like he isn't even trying to make the fight right now.

Don't believe Arum's crap. A contracted has to be negotiated. All I'm hearing is that Arum came up with a contract and sent it over to Floyd. Floyd has to agree to the terms or changes some things he doesn't agree with. I admit that Floyd needs to say something, anything, about the contract but just because he doesn't sign it doesn't automatically means he's at fault for the fight not happening.

I guess it's convienent for everyone to forget how Manny Pacquiao
blew the fight the first time when Floyd was ready, willing and able.
All Pac had to do was agree to the testing he has agreed to
now and the fight would have been past tense already. Floyd
is not an angel but some of the flack he gets is unwarranted and
this article proves it. I know that the writer is frustrated like we
all are about this fight not happening but the only ones you
can truly blame is Pac and Top Rank for turning negotiations into a
media circus. I mean, if Pac would have stayed adament about the
testing decision and didn't agree this time around then maybe you
could blame Floyd but the fact that he wants it now shows that Pac
had his nuts out on the table trying to be a hard ass in negotiations.
To add insult to injury, Arum was secretly setting up a fight with Clottey
while Team Mayweather was trying to iron out the deal with Team
Pacquiao AND Arum and Konz are still talking about plan B's and C's
like that is going to pressure Floyd into signing. Top Rank and Team
Pacquiao handled this all wrong from the beginning.
