Haye will get 50% of HBO money - is that fair by not being American in Haye's first fight on HBO with limited exposure to US? He will also get 50% of Klitschko's money in Germany, which is unprecedented AFAIR. Is Haye a equal draw in Germany to Klitschko's? Hell, NO. Yet Klitschkos were denied their DESERVED share of PPV's...

I dont know why some of you guy are sooo emotional over money, Am merely pointing out to you that Haye has only been on PPV in the UK twice, Against Valuev and Ruiz so if a Wlad fight happens they can agree to a deal where Wlad takes a cut over any PPV sales that averages what he sold in the Valuev and ruiz fight.

You said before Haye would get 50% of HBO's money but why doesnt Wlad keep that to himself since you claim he makes more money than from advert,tv etc in europe then why would he want money from UK PPV?

Why would Wlad turn down Haye's offer and ask for 50/50 if he earned more in Germany than Haye does in UK?

Thats what i dont get, If Wlad makes all these money from Europe/germany like some of the posters (Gatecrasher) listed why would he want Haye to put the UK PPV money in the pot and do a 50-50? Maybe its because they know the UK PPV money is a lot of money which they want a part of.

If they are going to disagree over money then i cant be too hard on Haye like i have been over the last few weeks.

this fight will happen in 2011 but this was a rumored issue before...remember last yearwhen he pulled out with the"back injury"? Sentanta had just pulled the plug on boxing so he wouldnt get much...that I could see but now he has tv backing & a substantial payday(50/50 on everything)& he's still not inking a deal.he looks like a ***** but remember he has 3 people with options on him(goldenboy,saurland,don king) so getting a fight done can't be easy.for all we know all 3 could be whispering different things in his ear.let's not forget that all 3 are successful promoters & are greedy.gbp wants him to fight in the states,saurland in Europe,king just wants him fighting his WBA guys....who knows what the problem is...whatever it is haye is not looking to good

Maybe its because they know the UK PPV money is a lot of money which they want a part of.

And Klitschko's would deserve their part of money. Without them, there is no way Haye will get THAT big PPV numbers. I guess Haye vs Harrison could be good in PPV with proper promotion from SKY, but apart from that, there is no bigger fight in UK than Klitschko's vs Haye.

Unfair to them? Klitschko fights make nothing from the UK, UK fans would be buying this fight because of Haye. It's obvious now that Haye is a bigger draw that's why they want 50/50.

If he's such a big draw then why doesn't he fight more often to make insane amounts of money?

Exactly, Thats what Haye fans dont realize. Haye fights once a ****ing year. Once. One time a year. Of course one fight of his is popular, you miss it, you have to wait 365 days to see him again. Unlike the Klitschko's who fight 3 times a year on average. Its like Olympic Swimming, its only held once every four years, and its ratings beat the hell out of basketball in this country, heck its ratings beat out football games in the U.S. when compared (theyre at different times obviously). So does that mean swimmers are more marketable, deserve more money, are more popular? Hell no, it means the damn event is rare so people tune in because its the only time to see it. Haye isnt as popular as the Klitschko's, people in the U.S. have at least heard of the Klitschko's, no one here knows who David haye is. No one. So yeah his fights might be a ppv event in the U.K., theres a Klitschko fight 6 times a year pretty much. So no, hes not more popular.

Also, Arreola is more popular than Vitali in Mexico and the western U.S., still the only reason so many people cared about that fight is Vitali.

Haye can fight Harrison and retire next year a joke, a laughing stock, and British fans can stroke him, stroke him real hard, but the rest of the world will know him as a joke.
