11 million out of a population of 81.5 million is around 13.5% of people watching. Around 35% of Americans watch the superbowl, so no it's nowhere near sorry.

And? Because they keep more money doesn't make them a bigger draw.

That proves he can draw a live crowd in Germany not that he is a bigger draw. Sorry.
You are slightly off on the 11 million number, 14 million watched his fight against Chagaev. http://www.klitschkoblog.com/2010/06...se-boxing.html. Which means 17% of Germany watched his fight. If you throw in Eastern Europe, especially Ukraine and Russia, it is comparable to the Superbowl ratings. Did 17% of England watch Haye's fight, oh that's right, only 1 million did (if that, that is a very dubious number coming from a very dubious source...). Bottom line, more people watch Klitschkos than Diva Gaye. Your King ***** doesn't deserve even a 30% share of the revenues and Wlad is willing to give her 50%, very generous. Only reason not to take such a generous offer is if you were scared, which Gaye obvisouly is.

"They insisted that [in]the German territory [the broadcaster] would have to be RTL but ARD are our [German TV] partner and would be interested in showing the fight.

Booth and Sauerland are using the tv station as an excuse, they know all the Klitschko fights are on RTL and know K2 have a contract with them yet want the fight on ARD
Haye didnt sign to fight Vitali last year because he didnt want people having options on his future yet signs with Sauerland/King Ducking at its very best

Eh? How does it compare to superbowl numbers if you add Eastern Europe? If you add Eastern Europe you've got to add the population aswell and the percentage would probably go down. The difference is Haye was PPV and Klitschko's fights were on free TV, by your logic Klitschko is a bigger draw than DLH.

Has Gaye ever had 20+ million people watch his fights on televesion or 60,000 people watch him live? NO! Case closed. Wladimir Klitschko, RING, WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA Champion, is the bigger draw. Gaye was nothing without the Klitschkos and if he doesn't fight them in the next couple of fights he will go back to being nothing. In the meantime, every single fight the Klitschkos have until they retire (doesn't matter if its 10 fights from now or 5 fights from now) will be a sell-out at some soccer/football stadium with at least 20 million people watching.

Doesn't matter how many people are watching drawing power is how much money a fight brings, If Haye fought on free TV in the UK he would easily get 10 million+ viewers.

edit: i don't even know why you're arguing, Wlad turned down the offer of keeping all the German revenue and Haye keeping the UK and asked for 50/50. That should tell you who Wlad thinks is the bigger draw.

Pure speculation an conjecture, you have no proof of that. He has never brought in those kinds of numbers so until he does, he hasn't come close to Klitschko numbers. And it does matter how many people are watching, the more people watch the more ad revenue and the more the ad time costs, are you thick or something? You do know that the Superbowl is not PPV yet advertisers pay at least a million per ad to show during that time because of the number of people watching. No one cares enough about Diva Gaye to put his fights on for the general public to watch, that's why he has to make his fights PPV. The Klitschkos have a different business model because they have a wider appeal and more viewers. Are you that obtuse?

Do you know how free tv works? The channel pays for the show (the fight) and they make their money back from adverts, the Klitschko's see none of that money. If Wlad is a bigger draw in Germany why did he turn down Hayes offer?

Edit: Gaye had the option to have the fight at Wembley stadium last June but there were no financial backers that he could find to fund the event because they weren't sure of his drawing power. Gaye was also unsure of his own drawing power because his promotional company, Gaymaker Promotions, didn't want to take financial responsibility for the event.

In addition, Gaye is such a low draw that when Setanta went bust, he had to fake a back injury just to get out of the deal because no other network in England would pay him for the fight!!!

On the contrary, when HBO said no to Wlad vs Chagaev at the last moment, he got ESPN to televise the fight.

How is that for drawing power?

Why did Wlad turn down Hayes offer? If he is a bigger draw he would have made more money from Hayes offer than 50/50. Haye wants less money but Wlad turns him down and wants to give Haye more money? You klit fans are morons.
