And an undefeated Cotto got the hell beat out of him by Margarito, yet Shane pummeled Margarito...he beat the man who beat the man-by stoppage.

By the time Pac fought Cotto,he was already beaten and different-compare his fights after he got beat up from Tony and you will see he is slower and more hesitant.

I for one give Floyd limited at best credit for beating Mosley. Why?

For me, it was not the same Mosley we all knew. Mosley beat his last opponent decisively but it was more due to styles. Margo comes prodding in and is easier to handle for someone like Mosley. Many people got excited and thought if Mosley fought Floyd, it would be a great fight ..... but once the fight was on, more and more people began realizing that time had gone by since the Margo fight, Mosley is now fast approaching 39 and Floyd is not the perfect style as was Margo for Mosley.

Any unbiased viewer saw Floyd handily winning the fight but they would also notice that in Mosley's corner, they stated that physically, Mosley was cooked (see corner comments after round 7).

The prime Mosley would have fought strong until the end. For those that know, a younger Mosley would get stronger as the fight progressed. A younger Mosley would not have looked like the one that Floyd fought.

Mosley could have been ranked #1 but he sure didn't look the part. Also, after so many months off, can one still keep that status? Even Floyd lost his P4P #1 status after his layoff ......

Age and layoff do not mix and if you add a prime Floyd in that mixture...... Mosley got hit by the worst disease ever.

Even Floyd made an excuse for fighting Marquez instead of a stronger and true WW opponent. Floyd said, he needed a tuneup due to the layoff!!! Mosley's tuneup was Floyd!!!
the victory is no more filled with credible doubt then pacs win over cotto who was a shell of himself since margo and fighting at an unnecessary catchweight... all im saying is enough with the double standards

Funny how they say this, yet build up Clottey-who's best wins are both of Floyd's left-overs with Corrales and Baldomir.

Lets not forget that Manny himself must like sloppy seconds going by that same theory they are projecting...

Talk about twisting it how you like.... geeez

So your saying once a fighter is KO'd he's never the same? Pac's been KO'd and come back stronger.

Mosley KO'd a mentally weak Marg (his mind would have been thinking about the penalties his career was gonna get that whole fight). That and the style was perfect for Mosely.

Cotto may have taken a beating from Marg but he had long enough to get over it, had a tune up fight n then fought Clottey and won. There's no excuses for his loss, even Cotto said himself said he wasn't weight drained. 145 suited him best in terms of speed when fighting Pac.
