Bradley - Who? Dude isn't even remotely known to casual fans. Maybe when he builds his name a bit more.

Paulie - Come on, you would give Manny more credit for beating down Paulie than facing a tough fight in Clottey? Would of been like a man hitting a woman with a baseball bat in the face.... repeatedly
Are you saying Clottey is more known than Bradley? I don't think so...and he would definitely of made a better fight.Hell,Paulie "fists of pillows" would have made a better fight.Again, not one that he would win,but more competitive based on styles.

Yuri is far more known and has a bit of a fan base as opposed to Clottey.Manny claimed that Yuri was too tall to fight.

I don't see why these guys need to build up their names, yet Clottey doesn't....I am not understanding your reasoning here.

Compare Clottey's resume to Bradley's and Yuri's. Who's fought the bigger names? And don't lie, if Pac had signed to fight Paulie and the Clottey fight had never happend then you have been saying the same **** but swapped Clottey n Paulie's names around.

There's no doubt that Paulie would have got mauled, worse than what Khan did to him. And how was Pac supposed to predict Clottey would just shell up and not fight? Pac always wants a war.

If that is the case, why didn't Manny exercise his so called "contingency plan" when negotiations fell through with Oscar, Hatton and Cotto????? It's weird that he has a plan B against taking a fight with Floyd (in both negotiations), yet he never did with those previously mentioned.

These "plan B" options have only existed when Floyd's name is mentioned and it also just happens to be that Floyd is favoured in the fight....odd coincidence,eh?

Simple really, the one or two things that weren't agreed upon were sorted out quickly enough in those fights. I'm sure they had contingency plans but never had to use them as they knew both fighters were keen enough to fight each other that they'd sort it out. Mayweather has a history of ducking, no doubt about it, who knows if he'll retire again (like he's said himself recently) so they need to have another option.

Bradley has won every big fight he was in-Clottey LOST every single big fight he was in.Clottey will probably never be in a big fight again...he will be lucky to be on FNF sucking off Joe Tesitorre and Teddy Atlas.
Like I said in prior posts, Clottey was an option for Arum to keep things "in-house",which is why he is only looking at a Cotto rematch or a future fight with Margarito. He could still call out Berto or Williams since he "doesn't" fight for money and only fights for the fans....

No matter what, this has shown that "having other options" is not making this fight happen. The options for Manny are bleak- a fight with Cotto is tacky (I am sure you would agree),especially at a catchweight and/OR on Manny's terms-even though he is not the belt holder (he did this to Hatton and Cotto before).

His other option is for Margarito, and I highly doubt it will happen.
It just seems like they are focused on getting option B more than option A....
